I like the chord progressions in your songs even though noise isn't really my cup of tea.
Oh wow I haven't heard your latest track. pretty gud m8.
Wow this is really nice! The production is pretty good on top of that. Definitely want to hear more of you.
The housey part of the song was really good, although I'm personally not diggin the transition from trap to house. Did I hear a soundbyte from sail?

i reply to all feedback!
>acoustic guitar treated with effects, ambient, warm drone
I got a pickup for my acoustic guitar and decided to make some improvised loops and this was the result. It's got a nice heavenly sound to it.
My newest track:

Here's my new Alternative R&B track called "Worth It". It has some Toronto vibes, over "trappier" production than what I've previously done. I appreciate you guys taking the time to listen!
This has gotten a pretty good response, hopefully some of you like it too.

>Dat future funk yo
I've been playing music on and off for years. I really have done myself a disservice by not practicing, because I'm sure I would be technically skilled at this point.
Anyways, I'm trying to get back into it again and find my sound.
Leave a comment here or there, share it if you think it's OK. Or don't. Whatever.
I really wish your EP stuff had some kind of vocal lead. The mix is really clean and balanced, but what I need is some kind of direction your songs are taking.
Maybe they are too short to have vocals in every set, but especially your first song, it built up to a fizzle. Would have been nice to take me on a journey, rather than a trailer for one.
it's been a little while cause the combination of finals and it feels like writing spoken word takes forever lol
ANYHOO just released some new non voice modded spoken word and would really love feedback <3
>If not Spoken Word it's Experimental Hip Hop
>Returns and encourages feedback on both here and SC <3
would really like to see how people take to this one :)
Your new song vocals need more of a haunted vibe. Whatever effect that is making it reverb, but sort of draw back into itself needs to be turned up majorly. Also, it's awkward hearing your audio cut out abruptly.
Though, kudos to you for putting yourself out there.
I guess my stuff is kinda out of place in this thread, but here's hoping...
>little crust punk and death metal influence
Maybe check out Cleansing Water first, I put the most effort into that piece.
Most of my stuff up to date is inspired by Mutilation Rites, Burzum, and a little bit of *the blackgaze band whom shall not be named*
Definitely lo-fi. Get rid of the domo arigato mr robot shit though, or at least make it easy to understand. It feels really out of place with the rest of an otherwise solid track.
The piano on '..coast' is a bit processed. Having a tight track is great, but something everything being perfect can make it become monotonous, and subsequently feel less organic.
I was relieved towards the end when the piano stopped, just because it felt worn out.
It's really not for me.
I'll be honest, it was tough working through the first 2 minutes. The bridge was a surprise, and I actually liked your transition into a chorus / verse.
I wish you actually quickly alternated back and forth between the angelic hymn and heavy parts. Like two or four bars of that, then the other, to sort of contrast each one.
Also, lo-fi doesn't help when you're playing black metal. It mushed all of the nuanced parts into this weird mesh of sound that isn't enjoyable.
One thing I really felt left out on was the double kicks, and bass (or lack thereof). If you start recording individual instruments, rather than your band practice, it'd work in your favor.
Thanks for paying attention and giving feedback. Though actually, all the instruments were played by me and the vocals were by my friend (and his girlfriend in the bridge).
I know what you mean about the drums being washed out though and I agree. I wish I could hear the goddamn kick. Believe me, if I had legit recording equipment, I would use it.
