Are there any other musician deaths that will bring all the non-contrarians of /mu/ together like Bowie's did?
>Maybe Bob Dylan?
i like the beatles but i wouldnt care
Pretty much any artist that made a /mu/ core album or is highly respected and talked about like Bowie was. Bowie has been mentioned on this board practically every day since I came here a few years ago. So, any other artists like that would cause mass mourning.
Is that your way of saying "people who only like popular music"?
I will probably cry when Brian Wilson dies...not even that big of a Beach Boys fan but he's just such a sweet semi-innocent dude...God Only Knows what I'd be without him
don't worry, he still got three years left in him :^)
David Bowie was already an anomaly on /mu/. I remember actually thinking that a few times when he was still alive, that he was the only artist that /mu/ didn't really troll about.
Brian Wilson is the only other one I can think of. Of course there are some trolls but they're obvious contrarians.
Fripp, Eno, Visconti Iggy- They'll all be missed. Won't get as emotional but they'll be hard to take as well.
I'll be rendered catatonic when Fripp dies, though considering he's a mega autist health freak he'll probably live to 90 at least
unless his qt wife dies he'll probably shut down from sadness
If Hollis dies im pretty sure /mu/ will go into panic mode
Is this shit for real? There actually are people who get offended like this and think this way?
I will fall into a deep depression when this happens.
also this guy
Sadly, snowflakes are too triggered by people mourning someone that isn't a victim
Although a master song writer the guy strikes me as kind of conceited in most of his interviews, unlike bowie who's humble demeanor I think contributed a lot to his likability and mourning not to mention his mysticism and coolness factor. also Bowie's music feels richer has more depth to it generally even if McCartney's contributions did more for popular music.
>PRichard D Jams
I think there would be a nice outcry ( maybe more from the music community)
