From the 463 albums I rated I only have three 10/10's. And even those, if I were to re-listen them I could probably find a reason to make them 9/10. Maybe I'm too critical.
this is the only 10/10 i can think of. i still listen to it on a weekly basis and have been for the past 4 years.
Holy fuck lmao. Not only those are meme abums, but neither of them is above 6/10.
A 10/10 for me is an album that has absolutely no garbage in it. And that's hard to find, but Pink Floyd has (for me) several which is already a feat.
> Wish you were here (even if welcome to the machine is borderline, it is still good)
It seems to me that an album not being a concept album can't really be a 10/10, because for the sake of diversity the bands/singer tend to mix good songs (which become singles) and crap to fill in the blanks.
But I suppose that being a Rock Prog enthusiast plays a lot in how I see music.
I know I'm the only one, but to me everything about this is pretty much perfect.
Everytime I play a song from it I'm compelled to listen all the way through.
The only albums that are really 10/10 for me are:
40 Oz. To Freedom by Sublime
Demon Days by Gorillaz
Everything Goes Numb by Streetlight Manifesto
Paul's Boutique by Beastie Boys
Madvillainy by Madvillain
Bad Brains' self-titled debut.
But then again, I probably have shit taste in music.
>What is a 10/10 for you?
albums i enjoy so much i feel compelled to finish, after only hearing only a soundbite.
>inb4 shit taste
