For albums I like, or where sound quality is essential I'll get it in FLAC. If I'm downloading something on a whim I'll get mp3 and Flac later id I like it.

I have mix of 320 kbps mp3 and FLAC for the albums that I have for serious listening, I use what I can find. Most of my doujin music is whatever it is on dojin.co.
And I use ogg vorbis on my music player

I download everything in FLAC when available to avoid transcodes, then convert it to v0 and delete the FLAC files.

Yes. But I noticed a bit of lag for certain tasks, which annoyed me to no end. I assemble pc's for a living so got access to plenty of parts to swap out for diagnosis, turned out it was just the disk that couldn't keep up with the rest.

I pretty much only download from /mu/ (aside from collage binges during WCD FL) and most of the time it's in what I would call decent quality (at least 192kbps, mostly v0/320). I always download in FLAC from Bandcamp because who knows if they were using lossy sources. I will snatch an album in FLAC if I like it enough, but MP3 is "good enough" most of the time, especially since I'm starting to come across albums that aren't available in FLAC.
