It's not a bad album, but some of the songs are weak. Handlebars is meme rap, catchy but meme rap. If you're a bass player, look at Rise. It's literally 4 of one note, then another 4, from start to finish (I don't play bass, but listen to it.) That Anne Braden / We Are Winning shit is annoying to listen to after the first time. Aside from that, it's a p decent album even if they're preachy as fuck.

Their second album, Survival Story, is a great example of how you can be too preachy. It worked fine when they were doing the political rap thing because we're used to cringe like Rage Against the Machine. But when white dudes get worked up about saving whales and shit, it's laughable.

OP, I'm sorry you love this album so much. I've listened to it probably about 100 times in my life at least and know all the songs by heart, but it's not a good album. My brother still listens to the same music he listened to in high school (10 years ago) and this is one of his favorite albums. That's all I'm gonna say.

I listened to it before the largest part of the shilling, just as it was being released and I didn't like it all that much, theres some alright beats but theres not much else worth checking out. That being said listen to a song or two and decide for yourself is probably the best idea.

Pretty much every song has the same general fell with few exceptions. Randomly picking out a couple of songs will most likely give the general vibe of the album. It would be best to listen to it all but it's not absolutely necessary to figure out if you would like it or not.

My main problems with this album are the length, no album needs to be over and hour long. The mixing is done horribly at time, on the #fuckcourtneylove song the beat gets so loud that you can barely hear what he's saying, maybe it's done on purpose to push the psychedlic feel either way it doesn't matter cause it sounds like shit to me. His flow is boring as all hell for the most part and his lyrics aren't really all that great either. Not saying it's a shit album just it's far from a "future classic"
