what have some of your favorite memories of /mu/ been?
I really enjoyed when I got everyone to worship George Harrison for a day
the time my drawing made it into this picture, which was later sent to lauren
Pretty amazing, everyone on /mu/ even thought it was some long lost Radiohead demo, the joke initially was that /mu/ uncovered this mid 90s Radiohead track and gave it a silly name, but the brilliant thing was the joke was actually on us when the original OP revealed that he trolled us all
the first mbv listen along
the mtv polls
anons saying cute things to me :3
right after they leaked nldw and i heard the first few seconds of nldw, i liked death grips back then
>the developing of the /mu/ essentials charts
>epic share threads
>when i stopped visiting regularly because p4k cult threads, feel threads, waifu threads, j/k-pop threads, t-swift threads, and various other faggotry
the time some reveiwer from TMT did an AMA and he was a total fag so we got him fired
MTV March Madness
The original Doom Metal December and the years of butthurt gorespam
the time some anons violin got named BENIS XDDDD and he lost his shit
...but most of all:
MUMUPlayer with so many great anons and trips
Coachella 2013 when everyone thought Phoenix was gonna bring Daft Punk out (and they brought out R. Kelly instead). Also, Moby's set that night went he went ridiculously over time. Heard Spark's set was fucking insane.
A lot of stuff from 2015's fest (Drake, Kieza, Stromae, Reverend Horton Heat, the Gaslamp Killer) was quite diddily dandily meme candy.
The closest I've ever felt to other people on /mu/ was when erdejin died. That was awful. It just makes you wonder how many of your funposting buddies are already dead and you don't even know it.
yeah, it bummed me out more that I would've expected
can't really, it was in late 2010, perhaps, and not that big of a deal, but it was pretty funny
about on par with that guy who claimed to have wreckedhis hearing clicking on a harsh noise link and was all mad about it for a dayor two
What happened? Was it actually suicide? That's pretty awful though. I've thought about that before, a lot of the people you see on the web could die and you'd never even know it, enough to make you existential.
I thought he was cool, it made me really made when some buttblasted anon wrecked his blog by filing DMCA complaints. I DL'd a bunch of albums I dug from there.
Plus he was fun as hell on MUMU

I don't know, I haven't been on in a while but there were some better times before people got on that said "cuck" and "SJW" so frequently. They did use other stupid buzzwords like "beta" though and some people still thought that Scaruffi had some legitimacy though.
Surprised that there's still genre wars you'd think everyone would have figured out the secret by now.
I forget the OP post but it called for suggestions and either in the OP or a few posts later they stated that nobody had better say Bon Jovi and of course someone said Bon Jovi and they replied saying that ''that was it'' and that they were going to go blow up a building
The time Kitty Pryde's brother posted her number and /mu/ made an album out of the phone calls and voicemails
>/mu/ convinces world this album doesn't suck
I wonder if anyone will remember this old dank meme image
just 2013/14 in general. /mu/ was new to me and presented interesting music to listen to and obsess over, which distracted me from how shitty my life was/still is.
