Saw a little buzz here and there on here about them, wanted to see if anyone's really into 'em that much here

Yeah they're great. Seen them live a few times too, first time in 2005 when Kevin Rutmanis was still on bass
they're pretty good
best album is either the maggot or lysol
Probably one of my favorite bands. Saw them for the first time this summer. And they were great. Houdini is there most popular album for a reason, that thing is amazing throughout.

Yeah, I'd have to agree that Houdini falls into a more "radio friendly" category by cutting down on the sludge, drone, and weirdness some songs and albums provide.

killer shit, I dig the big business lineup so much. Incredible live.
supported them in my hometown a couple of years back, fucking incredible set. I think it was the only gig on the tour that they played Charmicarmicat.

my friend's sister recently married Kevin, he's a lovely chap from what I hear. Her art is fucking incredible, btw.

They're in my top 5 bands of all time for sure.
They stay interesting by changing their sound semi-frequently, and by being super prolific. Plus Dale Crover is also one of my favourite drummers of all time, up there with Neil Peart and Brant Bjork.

Yeah, Dale is a MONSTER drummer. He is an inspiration of mine, as well, his drumming style is continually growing on me.

I just love GPT
Such a great album
Correct me if I'm wrong, but With Teeth is definitely their best song, partially because it has their best lyrics.

Honestly I haven't heard it before, but even still after listening once I'm convinced about the same. It has such a flow, and yes, the lyrics stand out as well.
