When posting an album, make sure to post the FULL LINK for it (if you're posting a link from MEGA, THIS INCLUDES THE DECRYPTION KEY TOO) along with a sample of the album from YouTube (or just upload a track to clyp.it if there's nothing on YouTube), album art, as well as the name of the artist and album. This makes it easier for people to find these albums in the archive after the thread has 404'd.
Feel free to request, but make sure to be polite and post something before requesting (preferably something not already in the archive). This is a share thread, after all, emphasis on share.
If you're looking for an album, check the archive (https://archive.rebeccablacktech.com/mu/) before posting or requesting something, it might already be available. Type in the band name, the album name, as well as the word MEGA or ZIPPY and it might show up.
It's a pretty funny card. I'm not gonna derail this thread, but you might like these
Got this one that I had ripped myself from Harlow. Could probably get you anything else from him you'd like though (although not my rips, since I currently don't have those CDs.

Cleaners From Venus - In the Golden Autumn
>lo-fi, indie-pop, psychadelic, proto-hypnogogic, Ariel Pink and Marc DeMarco's musical granddaddy
oh for christ sake, I linked the wrong youtube link
the youtube link in the album post is a pretty good vaporwave album though if you like that sort of thing.
Reposting for posterity. If anybody could upload any of the studio albums by French proto-punk/ glam-rock sensation Alain Kan to Mega or Zippy you'd honestly be my hero. I have a plethora of obscure post-punk, new wave, jangle-pop, etc. I could upload in return.
Unwell - It's Today Again (2015)
>drone, ambient, experiments with loops
Tommy Olivencia - Plante Bander
really with the popularity of stuff like Ariel Pink and Mac DeMarco recently I really think more people should know about Cleaners From Venus, the similarities are uncanny yet no one ever mentions them.
not trying to push anything on you, and you of course don't have to if you don't want to, but I think you should at least try Ariel Pink's earlier stuff if you like Cleaners From Venus
Horace Silver - "Horace-Scope"

haha yeah it is one of the better ones that horace did.
it took my ten fucking minutes to up it zippyshare, so i will probably not do any more before bed. i need to get up early and prep some shit for a class i teach on monday. yikes.
it's cool. no need to worry. i promise!

Alexander Brandon - Deus Ex OST (FLAC)
>videogame, techno, classical, ambient, literally every song from the game
Toby Fox - Undertale OST
i was honesty into their first Capricorn label release, Music, when it came out. i liked rap and i liked Led Zeppelin and rap had moved away from the Rick Rubin early Def Jam sound so you didn't hear that sound anymore at that point (Korn i think was around or about to be, but rap metal was not a thing yet and i don't like it anyway.) i didn't realize the dancehall influence until later.
their sound was only good for one album, though, imo, and it didn't help that they got a lot smoother sounding later, too. so i don't care about this share and don't listen to Music anymore but what i'm saying is Music was good or at least right for it's time.
yes, i am that old. /blog
