My dad used to be a coldplay listener, then, every saturday he put his coldplay cd on the car as we drive to another city to get out of home because that was the only day he wasnt working, it brings me nostalgia, shame now my dad is a piece of shit and i hate him

They're honestly a great band. Sure, they don't push boundaries - after their first two albums, they could have been the next Radiohead, but instead they went for mass appeal. But they're still quite good. The first two albums are great, so is Viva La Vida. They're last 3 arent very good but even they have some redeeming qualities (a hopeful transmission & dont let it break your heart in mylo xyloto)
