Rapper: Big L
Producer: El-P (RTJ type beats)
This would be the most hardcore album of all of hip hop's history
I'd second DOOMLO or FLYDOOM or whatever
I always thought it would be cool to have MC Ride scream over Slint's instrumentation
Replace Memehair with Based D'Angelo and you've got yourself a good wank.
A bit niche but late I'd like to see a collab between late-90s-style Optical and Boards of Canada. I'd really like for Optical to have done more synth stuff like Lithosphere off Wormhole or really any non-dancey stuff just because you can hear in so many of his songs (especially unreleased ones) some beautiful tones being utilized in a beautiful manner, and it's really a shame that he ended up just making generic dnb past 2000 and generic house shit after 2010. I feel that compositionally BoC could help push him to making proper full songs of just those aforementioned beautiful synths along with adding their own signature touches to top it off. Optical + Rifts-era 0pn might be an interesting combination as well.
Can you imagine that shit, Swans make another Sftb mixed with Filth and Coil comes in with Ape of naples type of stuff and they help Swans achieve the Horse Rotorvator industrial sound on the Filth like tracks
Man god damn that would be good tho pitchfork would most probably be like yeah its a 8.1/10 while fantano would be like Who is Coil but still it would a great album
Kyle Hall and Danny Brown
DOOM and Action Bronson making MM..Food part 2. Either that, or do an episode of Fuck, That's Delicious where DOOM and Bronson make a dish that incorporates some of the herbs and spices that he used to name his beats.
