the 90s are objectively the best decade of recorded music
>>61564465
But what about the 50s and 60s
>>61564476
I was half joking. I like plenty of stuff from other decades. I just didn't want to lie about my real top 10 in order to have a more "balanced" list.
>>61564216
you're doing pretty good yourself
what's that Prokofiev piece? one of his piano concertos?
>>61564356
b-but most of the stuff on my chart are fairly popular
I should probably listen to Big Star sometime soon, I've been itching for decent pop rock
>>61564370

>>61564465
But what about the 70s
>>61563832
I've held onto these 10 albums for quite a long time, I put all the heavy stuff on the bottom to keep it orderly.

>b-but most of the stuff on my chart are fairly popular
True, it just seemed to me that you had a tryhard patrician phase, which is completely fine especially with tripcode on /mu/ (one has a reputation to build and protect), during which you discovered quite a few artists you actually enjoyed, but realised nevertheless that you preferred albums you were into in your prior, transitional stage.
I'm really only thinking so because I feel the same way about the music I listen to on a daily basis. I don't try to prove anyone anything, just look at my chart; nothing is "really out there" or highly experimental. It's mostly just your regular old Rock and Pop and their respective subgeners. But I have found that I prefer those over most of the music that would give me a lot of /mu/-cred.
