ITT: Albums with amazing first songs
Nightwish seems to always put the best songs at the start, with some good ones to end and filler in the middle, makes the albums kind of boring. Poet and the Pendulum is the best opener by them anyways.
I kind of switch between preferring one or the other, I just feel that Pillbox Hat does all of what it wants to do in such a concise manner that there's no real flaws in it at any point. Up My Sleeves is still god-tier thoguh, equally deserving of being called their best intro.
it really wasn't, they peaked as a band at Aenima, musically at Undertow, and these dumb reorderings not only add nothing to the sound but exemplify what is wrong with their fans
Idk about that, I think Undertow was kinda stale compared to Lateralus and 10,000 days desu. There are some solid tracks on it, but it is a car album and nothing more. I like the idea of a band hiding shit in their music to give the fans a little bit extra to the album as opposed to a collection of songs.
Head On/Pill = one of the greatest modern psych rock tracks
First song: Hooch
pretty much every radiohead album starts off great. This especially though
