I gave it a 7 man. I like both bands, but I honestly don't see what all the fuss is about compared to an album like Boces which comes out of the gate crashing, and provides some fantastic noise pop.

also OTC is the most overrated boring garbage band.
mercury rev tried noise, anco did HCTI, STGSTV and fucked them in the ass
flaming lips went bleeps and bloops, anco did fall be kinda/MPP and fucked them in the ass
OTC tried le artistic beatles/beach boys rip off, anco made feels, sung tongs, other ep's from the same era, and fucked them in the ass.
Panda Bear made person pitch and killed chill-wave before it even existed.
and now painting with and freakin with deakin are on the way, i wonder who will be fucked in the ass now

I really want to tell you that the Soft Bulletin is better than Pet Sounds but I can't really think of a reason for why it could be, apart from my own personal taste.

for me there are no weak tracks in STGSTV or feels unless you are listening to the go, but if you have the time and space both are perfect.
