I also really enjoy this album. I need to be pumped up but this would definitely be good to play at parties as a band.

Try the second and third albums by The Men. Not quite what you're asking for but there's something in their noisy makeup that scratches a similar itch to DFA. That said, no other band really sounds like DFA.

Pulled Apart by Horses have a vaguely similar 'aggressive yet fun' sound. Just avoid their third album, its petty lame
