>Have you heard/do you like this?
I haven't listened to them yet, but Farewell to Hightide is in my backlog
>>61560312
Ah ok
Their first four LP's are all good (especially the S/T but that's just my opinion I), and on top of that they all sound incredibly different from each other
>>61558792
Idk how these fucking threads work anymore.
I have been playing a fuck load of Quake lately.
>>61560498
probably the same way they've always worked
RIP Weekend Nachos
Here's a pretty cool local band I've played with a couple of times https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BR_uLt4vaPc
>>61558931
October Language is good drone ambient, probably people prefer it because ~le drone non-accessible album maymay
I actually prefer Common Era, it's one of my top albums all time.
>>61559985
Not really, I just downloaded WSWS because it was reccd through last.fm, similar to HANL. But I didn't find it that great in all honesty, except for a couple of tracks. I guess it's my fault since I expected HANL and got pure doom.
As for Prurient, Unmasking the Insect is pretty great, but Cocaine Daughter is 2hnw4me, I don't like HNW.

I'm really new to jazz in general and jazz fusion in particular but I've heard that there's a lot of shit jazz fusion, do you have any tips for avoiding the shit?
>hey rec me some movies
my first thoughts were taxi driver and inside llewyn davis but I'm betting you've seen both. ooh, raise the red lantern. I haven't seen it in forever but i remember the cinematography was incredible
>>61560148
>forgot how good morok is, check out triumvir foul maybe
morok was my favorite find of NBBMN so I'll definitely give that a shot

>>61560178

I dunno anything on your chart that well but I could see you liking either moon or john dies at the end.
>>61560217
>Christian Death - Only Theatre of Pain
excellent album
I don't really know anything on your chart though
>>61560280
>Enter The Void is my all time favourite so I'm seconding that rec

I'll watch it this weekend!
Yeah they're sort of like the missing link between Moss Icon and Raein that came after both bands or something
best on my chart: passion, followed maybe by our love
worst on my chart: ...maybe visions? sounded kinda boring desu.
>>61560647
i really like cerulean... actually forgot obsidian existed. should probably check it out.
>>61560617
haha i'm actually not that into films, but I just got myself a decent TV so i'll start. Been meaning to watch inside llewyn davis bc Fargo was amazing
Idk much about Jazz. Consider listening to Wheather Report, and Manyard Ferguson. Fergeson is a great trumpet player from a technical standard, he's not the most experimental ever, like, he does cover Gonna Fly now and all, but he's still technically out of this world.
>>61561148
Obsidian has better songwriting imo.
But the superior album is clearly Pop Music/False B Sides
>>61560743
Awesome dude.
>>61561186
>Been meaning to watch inside llewyn davis bc Fargo was amazing
ILD is much more depressing than fargo, although I've liked everything I've seen from the coen brothers
>Manyard Ferguson
I'll have to check this out, thanks for the rec
