Mono shit, while enjoyable, doesn't count.

The only song I'm not really digging is Sue, I like the instrumentation but I can't get into Bowie's vocals. Everything else is fucking killer, especially Girl Loves Me
>>61537777
Is this real
>>61538427
Some vinyl rip got released to fortune a week ago
I didn't even listen to it because it was rumoured to be terrible quality, so was fine with waiting a week for the official album, but go ahead it's real
Better than paints with

WHERE THE FUCK DID MONDAY GO
Hey guys,
A local record store in Toronto was selling it early. Here is the 320kbps download link. Enjoy.

Album quality too. No shitty mono vinyl rips. It's from the download code that came in the vinyl sleeve.

Rotate This. I went in to buy Currents by Tame Impala, which they were sold out of. Then I saw a single copy of Blackstar on the wall and was like "HOLY SHIT" and snagged it.
>>61542813

so? verdict? impressions?
>>61544901
Really great, might be the best Bowie since Scary Monsters
>>61544901
Was real iffy on it up until Lazarus came up in the tracklisting, restarted it after that and it clicked, smooth, expansive, intricate and a very enjoyable listen despite being some of the least Pop work he's done. Definitely worth the download, think I'm gonna pick it up on record actually.
What does everyone think of Girl Loves Me?
>>61545177
probably my favorite on the album
>>61544901
I love it, even more now it's in stereo haha. If you like Outside and Buddha of Suburbia, you'll like this.
Lazarus is pretty clearly the best track
Can't Give Everything Away is pretty cheesy instrumentally, leave that in the 80's david
>>61545320
I'm not crazy about it right now but I figure I'll be all over it in a few listens.
I also don't know which version of Tis a Pity She Was a Whore I like more.
>>61545177
My favorite song on Blackstar. You can really hear the Death Grips influence coming out, with some added mentions of his continued occultist interests.
>>61545371
that's my favorite track, the insanity of the previous six tracks makes it feel so earned. the melody is so beautiful
>>61545462
This shit's fucking good. Sounds way better in stereo (obviously) and I'm not as sore about the new version of Whore now that I can hear all the channels. I think this is one of his 10 best.
The synth on I Can't Give Everything Away is very similar to the one on Thursday's Child, which isn't a bad thing.
>>61545579
i love it.
this album has got a real outside, btwn, buddha vibe going on

>listening to 'Tiz a Pity She Was a Whore

Scared the shit out of me. I really like it so far.
>>61545772
Yeah, a lot of reviews have been comparing it to the Berlin trilogy in terms of experimentation, I wonder if any of the reviewers who aren't die hard Bowie fans have even heard Buddha.
>>61543041
I always post OC
