METAL QUESTION:

Are there any other bands that make music like Death? Don't know how to explain it but it seems like they are there own genre and nothing I've heard sounds close to it. Very melodic yet nothing like the twiddle-dee-doo, over the top, three guitars playing melodies of most melodeath. Catchy as hell but still fucking heavy. Technical but also kind of simple in a minimalist type of way. Oh and like that every song sounds so solid and well put together. I'm guessing the answer might be no...

In particular I'm a sucker for the tremolo picked runs for example start of open casket or misanthrope, chorus of without judgement, or after the solo in lack of comprehension
