I don't really like that much black metal outside of Burzum but this is great from what I'm hearing. What kind of Japanese folk instruments will you be using?
>>53112411
The layered sound is good but there's just something about the idea that I don't like. I think you should keep your vaporwave ideas and harsh noise ideas seperate but you definitely need to explore both paths (just seperately)
>>53112200
This is layered well too but this is more my branch of harsh noise. What you're doing sounds great. Keep working hard on that LP!

I don't really like that much black metal outside of Burzum but this is great from what I'm hearing. What kind of Japanese folk instruments will you be using?
Sampling Shakuhachi and using a Koto and Shamisen through some good Software (sound nearly as good as the real thing) as well as various percussive instruments. After my next pay cheque I am hoping to actually get some authentic instruments if I can but fuck me if traditional Japanese instruments aren't expensive so I am just playing around with Japanese scales and stuff alot of the time. If you have ever listened to the Mushishi soundtrack then it will be similar but with a black metal/Folk Metal/Agalloch edge to it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hbvoU84-MgY

the thing that i adore about leicester union is how disturbing it is, the way it fuses politically polarizing spoken-word with lo-fi distorted henry kaiser-esque improvised guitar. i'm genuinely curious what would a harsher version sound like, will it be a masterpiece or will it overwhelm. i'd say go for it.
