Post your bandcamp and review another bandcamp if you have the time.
Just Bass and Vocals.
>Dark Ambient/Drone/Post Rock
>Black Metal/Dark Metal
If you like lydia lunch, public image ltd, early sonic youth, bauhaus, chelsea wolfe, early iceage then these four tracks might be for you
>rap/hip-hop, beat samples american football
>solo exp. punk/garage/blues
that's sick dude. i've always wanted to do a project with just 2 electric basses.
>banjos and shitty memes
Been busy lately so haven't been posting often. Look at the puppy I got :3
I am not a very big fan of Ambient music in general. I am not saying that this is bad. It is probably me not you. I hope this isn't mean or anything.
This guy is not only my bro but his music is awesome!
feedback would be appreciated. will try to review other bandcamps.
Thanks man. It is funny because this music reminds me of some of my stuff. Pretty good. I like this! A lot. Going to download. I hope I dont sound mean when I say that I think the drums could be a little bit better. The guitar riff is great!
>noise pop / chiptune / synths / fuzzy guitar
If you ordered a tape last week it's been shipped unless you're K. or Vanishes! Ran into some issues with international shipping but they should go out tomorrow! Second week's shipping will go out in a few days!
Like that new image my man. Really cool sound with just bass and vocals.
I really like this guy's black metal stuff, do check it out.
Awesome stuff here. Love the way this record is shaping up and I can't wait to hear the whole thing. Check it out if you're interested in some rad goth noise rock stuff with atonal vocals.
>tfw no moot
don't even sweat it man, i've been trying to add drums to that track for a while so i was like fuck it i'll play drums. as you can see i'm not too good lol. thanks for the input though.
Love this guy too. Him and Vanishes are like the kings of Chiptune!
Hope everyone here is voting for the /mu/ compilation!!
all polls are up!!
I feel you. Do you have a facebook page?
cool dude, sexy vocals
this is really good noise or whatever you want to call it. i think i've said this before but the music lives up to name of the EP Layers Of Colors.
catchy shit. real catchy shit. i just wish it was a bit more unique.
this goes hard. not a huge fan of your flow but the beat is great. keep making and not making hip hop.
got a bit of a beat happening feel it but with out the charm. i suggest you listen to his vocal style and personalize it somehow. i think it would fit great with the lo fi instrumentals.
some of the catchiest fucking pop i've ever heard.
i think this could be pretty sweet with some electric wizard type vocals. but with out them i'm not really feeling it. however, this is coming from someone who is not well versed in the genre.
this is some seriously well made chiptune. i mean, the work that this guy has to put in his craft to make something feel this polished and clean is inspiring on its own. not to mention that it makes me feel wonderful. the synths are like candy to my ears.
>atmospheric/minimalist folk, some freak folk
Thanks for listening and downloading, also thanks to all the people who gave feedback that I didn't respond to, I'll go in the archive and listen to your music if I haven't yet
420 songs on 420 is still the greatest thing I've witnessed on any Bandcamp made by anyone. >>53075692
Very good n' heavy. Definitely lives up to its influences, something that you can just bang your head to. Although something about the production is off for me and I can't put my finger on it.
Definitely a very unique project, sounds ritualistic and haunting. Interesting over all... I'm almost not sure to feel about it yet but I'm definitely 'intrigued'.
Going to download this. I only heard a little bit but the atmosphere I got from it was amazing. A little bit depressing and depressing music is my favorite!
He isn't a God...
...He is a deciever ov them tho.
Dog backwards is God.
Lanza got a new Dog.
Coincidence. I think not.
>atmospheric rock, heavy/doom metal
Releasing a split album with my best friend soon, the Leviathan EP is just a few songs from it.
god this is beautiful. and i hope you can get into my project eventually : )
damn i was not expecting this man. i basically have no experience or interest in this kind of music but i do know that it's great for what it is.
ehh, not feeling it my broe. i can't say that it's bad but it seems a bit generic. those vocals are really whiney and off-putting. you obviously know how to structure a good pop song so i'll give you that.
Well I appreciate you listening to it; I know how hard it is to try and give an honest review of something outside of your musical comfort zone, and it's super cool of you to do it. Keep an eye out for the full album that's coming soon, the album is a very mixed bag of genres, there's something for everyone: acoustic rock, prog. rock, shoegaze, metal, folk. My best friend's style is pretty different from mine so it adds a nice contrast from the stuff on the EP.
>acoustic, lofi instrumental folk/emo demos
i should have a new batch of similar coming soon, once i can relax from studying over the next few weeks.
definitely fits the tag, but i feel like its only because the production is sorta clean. record yourself playing trashcan drums through a shitty mic for that dirty umph
the slowdown halfway through the second track with that whirring effect in the background is pretty sweet. the riff 3:30 into the last track "Escape" is pretty sick too, and the outro as well.
>chillwave // dreampop
suup man, listening to back to basics and I`m liking it!
I dig your sound,I can get lost in this.
>art rock,stoner punk,instrumental.
>I switched up the track order oOoOoOoooo.
Are you still planning on touring with Pat Malone? Lemme know if you guys make it to Philadelphia I'll chill with y'all
Damn dude, you play the guitar really well. I'd love to hear these fleshed out with more stuff, even if you kept it instrumental some additional accompaniment to these would be awesome
>Why did you write "cool tapes" on my wall?!?!
>Uh, hello? Maybe because I like cool tapes?
reccin awesome music and great friends
>solo lo-fi bedroom pop
>music 4 music by alien
Hey thanks, that's kind of what I was aiming for. Although somehow against all odds I usually prefer happy music. Also, listened to your album a short while ago. I love the concept.... because I love bass. And vocals, too, of course. It's really neat stuff. The way it's produced isn't my favorite but then again my stuff isn't all that professional either or anything.
Thanks a ton. Don't worry, I give music a lot of chances usually. I hadn't listened to it when I first wrote that but I particularly dig the fourth track.
Thanks for the rec. As for your music... I don't have much bad to say about it. I mean it's super catchy, I love the lo-fi-ish production and all the detail put into it. This is just based off Love Air, but I'm gonna listen to the rest and then some.
Thanks as usual poly. Awaiting a full length. Also, I finally got around to initiating a collaboration of sorts with your buddy Ocelot, so hopefully that turns out great.
This is lovely. I mean, it's simple with just the guitar and all, but the songs are fleshed out and well done.
thanks for giving it a listen man. i'm surprised you like the fourth track because i feel like that one is the least liked. i've been debating myself on whether or not to remove it because i'm not too sure if it fits the atmosphere of the rest of the album so far. what are your thoughts?
Well maybe that's why I liked it more when I heard it, because it felt a little less like the other tracks. Maybe it's almost too un-experimental compared to the other stuff? I don't know. It still definitely feels 90% similar to the first three. I think it should be kept.
s/t is cool as shit! >>Kathavatthu 9/10
>>bandcamp is at bottom right.
>acoustic but sometimes electronic
>i'm bad at music genres
>experimental, harsh noise on guitars and electronics
like it a lot, but i got an impression, that all track are too similiar to each other.
well, i was expected to hear some vocals, because compositions are totally great, man.
>Ambient, post-rock stuff
>vaporwave noise (some tracks)
> First Wave post-rock, Instrumental, Psychedelic, hints of western
I liked Avalokitesvara the best.
Turning back the clocks is a good track, though it loses focus later. I suppose that's the idea. Hey I can only play that one track, I can't sample the others, what's the deal?
Digging this, the juxtaposition of American Football and 808's is suprisingly ok and works sometimes
>Ben Frost Inspired
Album's done. Just getting mixed and mastered and it'll be out hopefully mid feb :).
This is a basic mix of one of the tracks. Thoughts?
> EDM. Hard dance stuff, plus an orchestral thing atm.
>Will be uploading a new hard dance track in a week or two.
>Noise, Anime Hell
the synths are pretty cheesy. wish the bass did more to build the atmosphere. the vocals also give the distinct sound of someone who doesn't want to be heard in the other room.
not really sure how this is emo, but it's nice. enjoy how twangy it is.
i feel the lo-fi aspect doesn't really work here. this feels like a lot of its components would work better being more clean. that being said, there is a ton of potential in this.
soothing. wish you used more than the piano a a main. what is this a soundtrack to?
really fucking weird. i can feel traces of a beat starting to break out, but they are just as quickly sucked back in. love it.
really wish the vocals weren't there. they would suit harsh noise so much better than they do this. that being said, the beat is an interesting one.
shallows - citrine
lo-fi, indie, experimental, short songs
>lofi singer-songwriter, folk, been told it sounds like Jandek, huge improvement over my other stuff
as always i will return any and all feedback i get, and if you liked (or didnt like) my music, please feel free to stop by RYM and give it a rating. no bully pls
>listened to Back to Bassics part 1
This is pretty groovy, the sparse instrumentalization works really well here.
>listened to - Layers of Colors Harsh Version
I really dig the atmosphere. It's neat as fuck and very enveloping.
I listened to this whole new EP yesterday and I fucking love it. Keep up the good work my man.
other recs (above 7 out of 10)
i apologized for being a huge piece of shit a few days ago and fully accepted the fact i was being a cocksucker. I am sincerely sorry that I acted the way I did. I had just found out my mother had cancer, and I perceived i had been attacked on here, so I lashed out. I was really being a shittrumpet, and I am sorry.
>depressive black metal, ambient
>>53080219 listened to your stuff before, excellent and unique music
>lana del rey influence
Yeah my mom had cancer too and I didn't take it out on these dudes, but I hear you and I appreciate your apology, we good bro
>psych, garage, post-punk
In the midst of recording, so please enjoy these tasty live tracks in the meanwhile.
>pink punk, moxy-rock
>ambient, drone, glitch
>noise rock, math rock, shoegaze
>jangle indie stuff
>groovy psych, laid back music to drink coffee to
>star trek comedy funk rock
>sample based psych pop
>shoegaze emo alternative
I'll try to get more involved once my laptop arrives in the mail
Here's a mate of mine's band form Finland. Prog/rock. What you guys think?.....
