10/10 albums /mu/ never talks about
>pic related, the most underrated album of all time
should be /mu/core
hey i just listened to that for the first time like 30 minutes ago
To be fair, Death Grips are pretty good. And Wolf Parade comes up sometimes. Now why /mu/ never mentions other Captain Beefheart albums besides Trout Mask and Safe as Milk, or Half Japanese surpasses me.
only a couple years old, but better than any other hip hop album i've heard in a while
Death Grips are pretty shit, tbh. Considering how incoherent the lyrics are, most of the time it sounds like when my neighbor gets drunk and goes off at his son for playing his drum kit too loud, if you put some looped frooty loops beats over it. Different, sure, but hardly good.
It's super emotive post-rock/electronic music. They have lots of cds, this is from 2002, but some of their newer ones almost sound Hisaishi inspired.
Most wouldn't call this a 10, probably call Deathconciousness 10 but not this. But shit, when you are in the same state of mind the album portrays (like how I am with my clinical depression) holy shit this becomes a 100/10.
I don't think I've seen a single thread discussing this album

Oh shit my bad. I hate to make it as an excuse, but my mind's always elsewhere cuz of depression so I didn't read the whole thing. Sorry.
For a more on topic one, this though. Yeah it's also considered scaruffi-core, but it's still good, guys.
This. I think this is really, really underrated album.
Don't care if it's posted often, still 10/10 and all those damn feels
Seriously, if you're a fan of Pavement, Modest Mouse, Pixies, or any 90's indie rock of that vein, check this album/band out. Basically a darker, Albini-produced Pavement. This album is a 10/10 imo
Van Dyke Parks - Song Cycle
Vashti Bunyan - Just Another Diamond Day
maudlin of the Well - Part the Second
definitely not 10/10s
gets talked about regardless of it being 10/10 or not
>tfw you will never get bright purple dreads and ride giant SoCal waves while Perry Ferrel's primal screams ring from the beach as cute late 80s scene girls take pictures of you for their surf fanzine
Best Zeppelin album and not so much as a poster on some shitty hipster's wall
