>death pop / brutalism / dance punk
I really like these, checking others out soon!
>bro-fi parking lot 8pm loiter beats

Jesus this is no better, imagine how bad a series of remixes and a collab album we made together would sound

just got my first EP 'Falls' printed on cassette, only 10 left so if you are interested in getting one make sure to do it soon!
>spiritual, dark ambient, electronic
We also have some visuals that go with it too.
this is fucking crazy and I've had it downloaded for quite a while, love this guy.
this was cool, actually reminded me of the second drone track Godspeed had on "Don't bend ascend"
Sounds like Beach Fossils a little bit. And it also sounds like Diiv if they were actually good. I like it.
Thanks for the kind words dude, downloaded, Loving me some ambient recently, I sit int he park on my lunch break and read with it. I'll have to find some terrifying book for this haha

very ambient, could see this working well in a horror video game or something, the visuals def fit the atmosphere of the track too, creepy stuff, how do you make tracks like this? are they made on just normal DAWs or are there specific methods?
> pop, baroque pop
Hi guys, I'm back with a new Oceania LTD album!
>23 tracks of guitar stuff, weirdly tweaked samples and analogue synth worship
>most tracks are extremely difficult to classify as a specific genre
Stuff that I like:
I'll return any feedback!
3 demo tracks up so far, working on a demo album with about 5 tracks plus an intro and outro. Raw production, will return feedback! Hope you enjoy.
>drone, ambient, field recordings.
check out the album i made with BSOFD. it came out about a week ago and features K and Daycare Riot as well
>>52801790 (MEGA REC)
Listened to much of your album the other day. Really runs out of ideas (though they are good ideas) and is really repetitive but not in a hypnotic or good way. The instrumentals are generally speaking not very captivating, but some parts really are (particularly the seventh and last track). That monkey screaming thing is cool, but I don't think it warrants putting it into multiple songs, it gets irritating after having heard it throughout the entire album. The aesthetic of the album isn't particularly strong either (though much stronger and a little more unique than most people in these threads). The spoken word part sounds unique and cool and emotive (whoever is speaking on the album has a pleasant voice). I know that I'm missing out on a part of the album because I don't speak Spanish, but ya. 6/10. You're probably capable of creating something pretty good, which is more than can be said for most.
>experimental, harsh noise on guitars
experimental, animewave, internet, cyberdreams, cloudrap, futurebeats
haven't posted in a while.
>ambient, post-rock, arabic influence
>from experimental electronic, to lo fi psychedelic pop
haven't been on here in a while. been working extra hard on my first full-length album, which should be out soon. i see a lot of new faces in here though, so i'll lurk and check some stuff out.
Really interesting guitar playing on Atmospheres I. Basically just sounds like a combination of harsh noise coming from an unidentifiable source and interesting unintentional guitar parts. Really cool, reminds me of Kaoru Abe.
>guitars, minimal, cozy
hopefully sooner than later. i really want to work on music but my schedule has become so hectic as of late. i'm working two jobs now as well as going to school and playing shows all over the northwest
Well all songs were improvised but not the instrumental part, im going to translate all the lyrics eventually,I think its a hybrid genre between vaporwave and spoken word, thanks for the feedback m8

>lo fi demos, post punk, dream pop, psych
>lo-fi pop. listen to the whole album.
>recommended if you want to hear a halfway point between xiu-xiu/early animal collective lo-fi type stuff, and orchid tapes output. except also made by an idiot.
very interested in/open to collaborating with anyone. i love you all.
would normally rec/go into more in-depth reviews but i'm on my phone at work right now delivering mail in the rain.

>Bedroom Pop, Reverbcore
STAY PRETTY STAY PRETTY STAY PRETTY
Just wonderful. Delightfully unique and funny in the same way that The Smiths are funny. You're doing wonderful things with lo-fi aesthetics. Lots of creative uses of non-musical sounds. "resurfacing" is incredible.
thank you! I always strive to have some level of offbeat goofiness, even when the subject matter is a bummer. And I'm super proud of "resurfacing" and no one really shows that track any love so thank you again.'

>>52803272 We still working on that track?
>>52805934 Wanna work with me on something for an actual EP I'm doing?
I don't understand the need to tag it as "indie rock." It just seems as redundant as tagging something as "music." I absolutely love your album, but stuff like that bothers me.
Wat the fuck did i just listen to
Back again, posted this a few times and had a good response each time:
Atmospheric Black Metal in the same vein as Burzum, Drudkh and Nokturnal Mortum. The album is free so go ahead and download if you like. A like on the facebook link down the side would be appreciated as well, I wouldn't give a shit but alot of people in the music industry only give a shit if you have quite a few facebook likes for some reason.

New EP from ACAB Rocky
Tapes available at that bandcamp link.
>doom folk, post punk
Vocals are so low that it ruins it. I know that's what you're going for but ugh. I started listening to it and I was hoping that the unintelligible vocals weren't coming because I kinda liked the vibe it had going til the vocals came in. Then the vocals came in, or like they reminded me what they maybe could've been in an alternate universe where you didn't suck.

>synthesizers, space is the place
>really boring but at least it's short
feedback is more than welcome. will write some but i gotta listen to stuff first.
>electronic, ambient, experimental, droney soundscapes, noisy, IDM
Alternating long and short songs. Emphasis on texture and immersion.
Works include a new collaborative split, solo LP, a droney single, an ambient EP, and an IDMish EP.
Attached image is of the new split.
New LP is done, waiting on artwork.
sounds neat. they're fairly well mixed for home demos. also the fact that it's an (almost) solo project blew my mind. would buy a cassette but shipping to europe is a bitch.
so fucking raw. nice.
the drums are really annoying tho. the vocals on the other hand are near perfect.
really fucking cool mayne. would collab/10
>electronic, lofi, experimental
>deep distorted melodic synth stuff
Not really detecting the "hip hop" The other several genres you listed are mostly the same tho so I know what I was getting into.
Anyway, 5/10, maybe 7/10 if I pretend I'm really craving the genre. I was feeling track 3 the most.
I'm thinking about doing more noise related stuff, but I'd really like some feedback on what I could improve.
I really like this, but...
>mfw $100 dl, $200 CD
>jangle pop, indie rock
this is pretty amazing. if you ever go on tour you should come to Philly and I could hook you up.
I just recorded this song today and I'm p proud of it
>avant garde, parody, post-irony
All new Feminist Warriors album! All the lyrics are taken from real Craigslist ads in our city and are put to avant garde slam poetry beats.

>groovy, garage, rock
liked this one a lot
dug some of this, but some of the vocal samples were downright annoying. The sounds were kinda cheesy too but that might have been intentional.
listening right now, the sounds themselves are pretty tame, its listenable and definitely works as background music, but the textures need to be more interesting for more intense listening in my opinion
appreciate all feedback
this is a collection of unfinished songs that never made it on the Terre Noire project
Not even being a joke can justify having your audio clip that much. I was interested in the concept but fuck, learn how to hold a microphone you asshole. You are a bad person for clipping this audio.
http://vimeo.com/108538447 I'm a singer songwriter, from Owen Sound Ontario. I released this song about a month ago.
also this sucks dick and the video is a great expression of complete faggotry. the lyrics seem to be written by a 13 year old. get the fuck out of here. 3/10 0 ounces of creativity
You two are just jealous of hell because everything on this thread is absolute talentless garbage. Learn how to actually play an instrument and train your voices, damn. Last time I'm posting on this shitty site.
>thrash metal, I play bass
>powerviolence, I play guitar
>new york weirdo hardcore
>ambient black metal
i've just released this EP
>the most hated folk singer on /mu/
Ayyyy fam. I got a lot of hate on here a few days ago for absolutely no reason. I was just asking how my album got 51 downloads and everyone went into a jealous frenzy. I hope you can all look past that day and listen to my music because I spent a lot of time on it.
>> My friends first EP, just helped him release it today.
i wrote a really shitty album trying to cope with the suicide of my girlfriend a few years ago. i hated most of the stuff on it so I just gut it so I think I have less than 30 minutes on here.
> experimental ambient experimental folk folk freak folk shoegaze
I like it, man. Not sure how the fuck that guy came to the 4/10 conclusion. I really liked the instrumentation, a lot. Your vocals I wasn't so sure about at first but then halfway through Death is my Lover it became great. Honestly just wish the vocals were mixed louder
Beginning to think theres just 1 anthoni fandango fanboy shitting on everyones stuff, but hey to each his own I guess
Downloaded, gonna give you scrobbles and shit dawg
>trance.biz stopgap ep
>fan video for vaporwave classic KEN GRIFFEY JR. AND SR. PSYCHIQUE TRANSMISSIONS
>lo-fi piano rock, alternative piano
I only have one song up currently and in my opinion it is not finished. I cut out a lot of the white noise but in order to keep it lo-fi I kept it in.
Before I go further on my one track I need opinions on it.
I return all feedback
local tones from tokyo
I listened to your EP OP
so you need to listen to my album
Experimental music with little to no effort put into it,
with tastes of shitty production, rapping, and turntablism.
a bit harsh on that last part like but yeah i get you, thanks for listening, i think i sorted the low vocals issue out a bit on my second EP, haven't got around to fixing my vocal style yet though hahahah, i'm working on it though!
IT'S TITTIES TUESDAY, BABY, SHAKE 'EM IF YA GOT 'EM!
Both of those are generative music experiments.
>industrial,experimental,elements of vaporwave
Also would have helped if I had put a link up...
^^^go listen. Or don't. I'm not telling you how to live your life.
I don't get you.
The more I listen to your newer releases I start to appreciate what you're doing, but honestly I haven't heard much like what you're doing.
It feels a lot to me like when I first heard Zorn or Little women, or when I encountered black metal for the first time.
I really can't say I get it, but I do appreciate it.
>drone, ambient, underwater, atmospheric
made an album to get over a fear of water
my main stuff is here, new releases upcoming, plus an ep was released not long ago
>electronic, glo-fi, sample-based, hip-hop
released an album under this moniker recently, quite proud of it
>Traditional folk / Folk revival / Folk punk
I like the songs themselves, but the performance and production don't do anything for them. Even more than the lo-fi aspect which is take it or leave it, you need to sing with more energy. It sounds like you're just reading off a page, you need to make it sound like you're living what you're singing at that moment. These are demos. Keep it up though because theres real potential here
I thought this was really pretty good. I can bounce to this shit also >>52806622 yeah what, just now?

fucking crazy, work on the mix a little bit tho 8/10
I was expecting something like grizzly bear for some reason, but this is cool nonetheless. 7.5/10
pretty damn eerie to me. 8/10
sorry for short reviews ill be here the whole time in the next bread
