Can we forget all the bullshit surrounding Daft Punk, Human After All, Random Access Memories, and the Grammys for just a minute to talk about Discovery?
What are your thoughts on it? Do you like it? Why? What's your favorite track?
My favorite Daft Punk record, but i don't think what came after was bullshit at all; I love everything they do, really
The one i like the least is Homework, not because it's not good but it's the music type i don't particularly enjoy, even though Da Funk is one of my favorite songs from them
But yea Discovery, one of my favorite albums ever, and the one that made my childhood.
Favorite track would probably be Digital Love, amazing hook, but i love them all
I think Human After All aged very well, although i still think it was meant to be "raw material" for Alive 2007, which isn't a bad thing but when you think of it, HAA songs sounds very repetitive and sometimes kinda boring, but they suddenly become way more enjoyable in Alive 2007
OP here. It's not that I dislike Human After All and Alive 2007, though I hate RAM. I just didn't want this thread to dissolve into bullshit arguing over whether RAM is a good album or not.
>that lazer solo at the end of Superheroes
I like RAM, but i understand people who don't like it and i don't want to get into bullshit arguing either haha
Anyway Discovery still remains the one i always come back to, more than any other
And I always feel like people stating that Homework is better say it just for the lack of saying "yea this one is the best because it's the least none by the public hurr durr plebe hurr"
>I like RAM
>And I always feel like people stating that Homework is better say it just for the lack of saying "yea this one is the best because it's the least none by the public hurr durr plebe hurr"
You are the reason daft punk sucks so hard now
fucking amazing. Second half appeals to me more now. When I was a kiddo the first half was very accessible and the second was too dense but now I love it.
House music is shit and Discovery and RAM are both works of art
>Something About Us
>Not thinking "One More Time" or "Harder Better Faster Stronger" are more overrated
