You know the drill, make sure to leave feedback either on SoundCloud or in thread.
Hey y'all, I'm the guy from Majorka.
my friends wanted to make some music over this winter break and I wanted to try something new. we only have a demo up and the mics we used sucked, but I wanted to know what you guys think.
Here's a song from our upcoming album. It's called Houdiniana:
Teaser from upcoming collaborative album I'm putting together: https://soundcloud.com/projectwo/nuits-solitaires-volume-2-teaser-1
Work in Progress: https://soundcloud.com/projectwo/wip
The production could be a tad bit better but great track, is this a band or just you? The guitar is excellent
>trippy psych with a heavy alt rock twist :)
> stoners, improv, experimental, jokes, meme noise
the stoneriest shite imaginable
>alt indie new wave phil collins
I would probably say that this is my favorite thing I've ever made in the month that I've been making electronic music. Also uploaded a new track just now
needs more added to the beginning of it and it drew me in, do not like the sub bass. drop at 2:24 was really really good. maybe bring in the open high hats and tambourine hits earlier.
These are only demos for now so the sound quality isn't phenomenal but I hope you guys enjoy it regardless. Any feedback is appreciated!
>jangle pop, alternative, lo-fi, music
Hope you like it!
>trip hop, instrumentals
>experimental electronic noise techno ambient
not my cup of tea, but i see the artistry. as much of a sin as it seems like, itd probably be good for you to use pitch correction. i like the skinny love cover though
i like your shit, its pretty engaging
fantastic! the production on this is awesome, definitely worth a listen
the beginning is nice and jazzy, and then the 808's hit and yummyness ensues

Made some minor changes
>underground rap, self produced
Someone said they didn't like my production and the thread 404'd before I got an answer as to why...wondering if someone can help me out?
Do something with your voice. You sound like literally every white american teenager trying to rap.
You're young, I dunno if people really want to hear these deep themes you're reaching for coming from someone who hasn't really lived. It's a common mistake I see a lot young rappers making.
And I'm not American either haha
I feel what you are talking about, but all my raps are personal, anything I talk about I experience
For example, In Demon's each verse is a drug I have issues with, Weed, Oxycodone and DXM Haha
Sorry for the assumption, but you're still relatively young. You need to prove you're worth listening to before you go into themes like that, otherwise nobody will really take you seriously.
Keep going tho, you have a good sense for what a good song sounds like.
>You need to prove you're worth listening to before you go into themes like that, otherwise nobody will really take you seriously.
This is just my solo stuff man, sadly my group broke up but when I do shows and stuff around my city, I make sure I'm taken seriously.
And honestly, I don't feel the need to change what I rap about to be taken seriously, if people don't like what I'm saying, they don't like it.
I feel what you are saying, but I disagree. Everytime I've done sets people always tell me they feel the theme.
Of course, that could be because I'm rapping to other 23 year olds, I can see why some older heads may think differently.
OLDSCHOOL AND NEWSCHOOL HIP HOP
> LOOKING FOR EXPERIENCED RAPPERS
(no 10 dollar mic please)
Leaving all feedback on the cloud :)
>post-punk/noise rock/psych rock
Don't be mad that our shit memes are better than yours. Keep repeating communist daughter over and over, maybe someday you'll make it as interesting as our Hey Ya cover.
Protip: You actually won't
I'd be down to work with you, check my link below
I find it mediocre, course I'm just some random 19 year old
I like it
Not a fan of the genre, tho you pull it off
I got some rap
Some call it old-school
I call it doing what feels good
Will return any and all feedback
>inebriated bedroom musician, mostly chill electronic stuff.
>minimal techno, progressive house, tech house, electro
I'll be adding people and getting around to checking everyone out and doing comments/likes on stuff I dig.
>just made a soundcloud account
I would love feedback, i only have an electronic song at the moment. Don't expect it to be the typical , Ill also be looking at other peoples stuff .
>all sorts of good stuff
mmmm, this is just massive
fun and chill, would love to hear some vocals over this
i agree with the other guy, this just screams mac demarco, and not in a good way
mmmm I like this a lot, like the other guy this could use vocals too
so much space, so chill
so relaxed i died
always my favorite, best in mu sc threads
i do mostly emo stuff
but i recently sang on a friends track for fun, it's really dumb but it was a lot of fun
I'm trying to get into singing on other people's electronic tracks or whatever, i can do non whiney style. any advice on how to get started on that?
Just dumped a whole heap of tracks, I make music on a 7 year old laptop with no headphones so recommend not listening with headphones XD.. actually do and tell me what it sounds like
not sure how to playlist
they can't. but who cares. sounds like it's three dudes tryna collect listens/favorites just like the rest of us but with a better marketing scheme.
if you continue to hate, find TWO WHOLE FRIENDS that have soundclounds that are willing to help you out. if you can't.. well, then maybe it's your music that's the problem.
What genre is this guys? I think its dance (?) or techno ish?
I return all the feedback I get on SoundCloud!
I need some harsh advice on this track trying out a new mastering method.
is the kick good
is it loud enough
returning any feedback
experience the crunch
>ambient, chill, hip hop, drone
>Somewhat ambient at times
Please let me know what you think, I'm on the come up my niggas!
I'm posting 1-3 chopped & screwed mixes everyday until Christmas. Comments and follows will be returned.
have a listen, going through the links posted here. I love these threads.
the music industry IS a circle jerk. if you're looking to get yourself anywhere, you gotta suck somebody's dick. if you can't get over that, you're going nowhere - kid.
and for the record, if your music is good enough, people will suck your dick without you even having to ask. so gtfo, practice, and stop bitching about how your songs have two plays
Lo fi, guitar, instrumental, maybe post-rock-y?
But you know, pretty humble. It's been a while since I posted anything up, but I have a ton of songs with lyrics and vocals, rapping, sample based music, etc.
Will reciprocate cloud contact. Will be in here for a while. Cheers.
>fast classical piano
>Jangle, Dream, Pop, 4track, Ariel Pink-esque, SHoegaze

chill vibes, mess around with a buncha different sounds
they are people who I've worked with so i can honestly recommend them, if i find someone else in these threads and start listening to them then i end up recommending them as well. I actually spend quite a bit of time listening to other people's soundclouds.
>funk / electro
i'm sorry for not enjoying whatever music you've posted here :] you should probably work harder on it in stead of complaining about "sc cliques" lol :D
