So, to future generations that may read this via the archive I think it's necessary to say that this version is different from the version featured on the Nah und Fern compilation - The first and third tracks were taken out, and that kind of butchers it imo. Track 3 is one of the most hypnotically groovy tracks ever, and track 1 sets the scene for basically the entire Gas project.

I fucking love Gas and am so happy to see this requested.

Well all of the tracks were remastered, for Nah und Fern, and apparently those two were simply "immune to remastering". So they replaced track 1 with a never before heard track and track 3 with a random one from Konigsforst.

Pop is good but I find it pretty overrated. Track 4 is fucking amazing though, maybe the best thing he did. I'd compare taking track 3 away from the s/t to taking track 4 from Pop actually. It's just a vital piece to the entire album as weird as that sounds.

I can talk about Gas all night but really shouldn't in a sharethread.
