I usually go for a v-neck t-shirt, if something is printed on it I make sure it's unrelated to the event, skinny jeans, a black hoodie and comfy easy-to-clean shoes.

massively in-demand Loefah got deliberately pressed to 300 copies. sold out in 15 mins and copies were up on discogs for £100s.

lots of complaints on discogs which have since all been deleted except for a handful of comments (there was pages and pages of comments when i checked yesterday)

if it's really just about the tunes and not about the whole vinyl fetish bullshit, then just sit tight and wait for someone to rip it (which they will because there is a pretty big bounty for it on what.cd).

There might be a tiny bit of overlap between the two as they somewhat combine footwork and breakbeats but they sound pretty different for the most part.

I personally prefer the more jungle/rave influenced sound of Machine Girl. But then again I would.

Keep in mind I'm not calling the producer a hack or a copycat. It's simply that due to the very limited sound palette of Basic Channel and a lot of other bleeps from the era, it was really hard to make dub techno without sounding like a clone of them

Having said that, from what I've read and heard over the years there were A TON of Basic Channel clones back then
