New bandcamp thread, old was was pretty full
post your shit, rec others, discuss
>weird folk shit
cassettes are freee
>jazz hop, shibuya-kei, nu jazz
>completely sincere use of cheesy smooth jazz samples
>somewhat inspired by Nujabes
I'll return any feedback!
>Dream Pop, Psychedelic
>Traditional folk / Folk revival / Folk punk
Listening now. You should hit up a studio, you're not a bad singer or player, but the quality is a deal breaker for me. The songs are pretty good but I don't know, I guess lofi isn't for me. Good songs though, that's whats important
>Electronica, synthesizers, emotive, kind of hip-hoppy
This one is hot off the presses.
>>lounge// dreampop// r&b
My album 'Life in Technicolor' is up for free!!!
and give my newer stuff a listen!
gearing up for my release via amdiscs next year ^_^
>atmospheric/minimalist folk, some freak folk
Recommending this great release:
Hey this is actually really quite good. The vocals are fantastic, and it just feels like you put more work into this than most of the other bandcamps you see on /mu/ (though I haven't been in one of these threads in ages). I find Brave the Storm very pretty. Also definitely digging Her Grace. I'm going to come back to this for sure.
This is good too. Maybe I'm just in a good mood but it seems like the bandcamps on /mu/ are much better than they were when I was last here a few months ago. Enjoyably straightforward. No gimmicks. I like that. The guitar on When I Left Town is really cool. Nice vocals throughout the album as well. Does not come off as insincere or tryhard-ish at all. Very natural, though definitely strained enough to make it distinct. Well done.
This is my friend improvising on piano last night. I secretly recorded it. Technically not a bandcamp, but I don't know where else to post it. Can I get some sort of confirmation that this is extremely beautiful?
>ambient, drone, sound collage, pretty noise
New Drum Track:
Did you decide if you were going to put out those older albums that you took off?
10 minutes bonus tracks added
Enjoy free EP
New album out guys:
>ambient, drone, glitch
>noise rock, math rock, shoegaze
>noise pop, bitpop, dream pop, 8-bit, electronic shoegaze, old vidya feels
These guys make sounds that make me happy because they are good!
>Ambient, Drone, Minimal, Lo Fi
cool stuff, listening rn
Album: UNREAL by erock
Black Goo Music Video:
Swerve $keet Boyz - Gla$$ Nude$
>spookycore, post-avant memerap,
Christmas album coming soon
>death pop / digital chaos
>electroclash / chiptune
These are great, people that write off Bandcamp threads are fucking morons.
Finally home from work and I can just listen to music at last, checking new folks out now
>lofi, sadcore, bedroom pop, lyrics about being a piece of shit
new release very soon, shows upcoming as well
Ah man, I finally got round to this in my backpack yesterday it's really great.
'if only this sugar were as sweet as you, sir' reminds me of a song I wrote. They have the same 'that mystical song from the Goonies' vibe
Hope yer like it
>Experimental, Various Genres
>Each release is something different.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thank You. :)
>electronic, ambient, experimental, droney soundscapes, noisy, IDM
Alternating long and short songs. Emphasis on texture and immersion.
Other works include a droney single, an ambient EP, and an IDMish EP.
New album done, waiting on artwork
>Shit-core / Pirated-FL Studiowave / Pseudo-Trap
>sorta jangly guitars but not really
>pitchfork update: polysemy just announced 2015 tour dates

jan 3rd - silvermoon brewing
jan 8th - the waypost
and then theres a few more dates in january but i don't remember them off the top of my head, i have em written down tho, i'll post later
I know the track you're talking about, All Cities is probably one of my fave albums from this year, means a lot getting some positive feedback from you, you seem like a really chill guy. Keep doing what yr doing man!
>apocalyptic folktronica, dark ambient, industrial, lo-fi
I've been getting fucktons of downloads recently, and I assume a decent chunk of those are coming from here. Anyone have any sort of feedback to give? I'll refrain from posting in future Bandcamp threads until I can give some relatively in depth judgements of my own to some of the artists here I've taken interest in.
noise music i make when bored
I liked the movement of the drone on the first track but I wish it were a bit more textured. The second track is great. Haven't got the time to check out the whole thing but I'll let you know what I think of the next few tracks if you like.
Yeah, that's cool. I didn't except anyone to listen to the whole thing via Bandcamp streaming, even though at least one person apparently has. Anyways, just listen and give feedback on whatever you want.
>Dark Ambient/Drone/Post Rock
>Black Metal/Dark Metal
Gonna post on behalf of the guy who got this project together
>4 track colab album, mostly electronic but has this overall uneasy feeling
I contributed 'These Walls Make The Womb'
>Jangle pop, indie punx
I take a lot of long drives back and forth from Georgia to Kentucky so I'll download it and save it for one of those. I like what you've got going on so far, this second track has kept my interest throughout the whole thing and it's 16 minutes so that's pretty impressive.
Thanks for the rec. This is really cool, reminds me of early OPN a little.
Reccing back, brilliant stuff.
I've listened to this before I think, great use of ambience. Thanks for the rec btw.
>Old style House and Techno made with Fasttracker II
Hey guys, some new stuff before I put out a split with my former band mate. More toned down than the usual.
>too many release formats
beautiful. inspired by Jefre Cantu-Ledesma?
thanks for the r8. I think my fave track is trippy
I like "White Kitty", definitely will buy this when I have the funds all set up.
Nice and subdued, for the most part, but still has some serious energy all built up. "Horse Power" would definitely stress me out if I were playing a difficult stealth section in a video game. Joyless night and it's crazy panning is another plus for the album, but it feels a little sparse.
I really dig the droney sounding synths, but I don't like the vocals. I would love to hear a full album's worth of the instrumental stuff. I don't mean offense by this but the vocals really hold it back, because the music creates an atmosphere and the vocals sort of rob that depth it creates. Prime example is on the song "Savages" off "Coercion/Control", I really enjoyed the sort of decay the song goes through but the vocals are the main detractor.
It would really be 10/10 is it was instrumental, it's like a 7/10 currently.
>Instrumental Rock, Alternative Rock, Art Rock, Post-Hardcore
> distorted ambience
Just demos, but feedback me, its important.
>vaporwave >spoken word >noise
Thanks for the helpful criticism, dude. Personally, if I don't like how the vocals are fitting, I take them out. Otherwise I guess I'm just experimenting. Maybe I'll dedicate one release to just instrumentals some day. I'm pretty much always recording when I'm not studying or at work so it might be accomplished soon. Nice work on your tracks btw, they have A LOT of energy. Guitar work is superb as well.
Hey man, these are really good demos. Really cool. Love what you do with just guitars on the third track. Your noisey textures are on point too. Followed.
From this loser.
>alternative, dreamy, easy listening
i listen 2 ur release every day on the train to Victoria and it is FIRE
>sad beats i make to express my pathetic emotions
Free Weed is kind of a strange and really underrated addition to Beer on the Rug. Rather than vaporwave, they're largely a noise-rock/lo-fi/stoner rock type outfit. This is a link to their EP (and as far as I can tell their only release)
It's full of good feels and a short but sweet listen.
idk if this is still active but whatever
>Emo/punk with chiptune gameboy beep bop boboobitz
I don't really get ambient/drone, so I can't be any help on this. Totally thought you'd be Scottish though from the name.
This, I really enjoyed - more than I expected to. Is it 2 guitars, 2 vox, or is there a quiet drummer as well? Good melodies, I like the counterpoint.
Still not understanding ambient/drone, but your teasing of melodies is suitably infuriating.
I can dig this. In Still Ugly, I'd probably have gone with a softer sound rather than the synth when it first comes in, but that's just my preference. Or maybe just have it slightly lower in the mix.
I didn't think I'd like this. I was wrong. Good vibes.
Listening now. Loving the moothie, there's not enough of that in new music.
The guy from this band's comments.
I think i listened yours in the last board, liked the game vibe.8,5 pretty nice.
O brazuca, ta maneiro, só achei um pouco repetitivo demais.
A accoordion ficou massa, aliás muito bons samples.
Just good, love lo-fi.
Well produced, like it.
double your vocals homeboy it's all you need
you are a beautiful radiant star
Johnny yuma here
Hey man thank you so much. It really means a lot to me. Also yeah this piano inprov is v nice. Is your friend doing any writing?
Nah man I can't do it. Stuff was just very underworked. A couple of decent songs I might compile on a thing later in life but not now
I never post in these threads, but I got bored and just decided to listen to yours and I really love it. You're doing lo-fi perfectly. Contrary to most "lo-fi" artists, It actually services your songs and I really love the riffs and overall writing.
Seriously I'm a little bit taken aback by how much I enjoy this. Good job.
Now I'm dumping friend's band camps
>goth noise something
>Get fucked in the face
>Love Spread Noisey"J"-pop
reccing all of these, all 7.5 or better. I especially recommend the pleasance house album.
now here's mine, fresh off the presses.
>sad songs about love and death and dreaming
>lofi folk, recorded on a cellphonecore, singer-songwriter
>people tell me I sound like jeff mangum but i can't sing and I'm sorry
I'd love some feedback, and will happily return any of it I get!
The only thing I think I did well was lyrics
É bem isso, me expressei mal, é pouca variação(as minhas demos também sofrem disso, por isso já fico atento).
Continue com o trabalho, cara. Não vi ninguém fazendo isso com músicas brasileiras, bem criativo.
