These are all consistently good artists. Pop Group, Syd Barrett, The Doors, The Who (if you discount the one bad they made in the 2000s), Husker Du, Morphine and Joanna Jewsom.

Mr. Bungle. Even though I think pic related and Disco Volante are way better than their s/t they're one of those bands that it seems like people can never decide what their best work is. Not to forget their demos too
