lmao lighten up that set wouldve been great. he plays functional tunes but theyre great
that bit with the snare at 2:08 is such a simple idea but its so great live
lol take your objectivity back to /classical/ m8
if you really must insist that opinions are determined by a conscious thought process (which theyre not), it's much more formulaic and timbrally limited
do i have to go to /r/ for this or can someone sort me out with a link to Ontal's Combat Engineering?
warehouse project, manchester, room 2.... serious vibes in that room on the right nights. its long and thin like the moat at outlook, except with pillars all the way down and a low roof. so cool
nah but any system is gonna have a hard time knocking the moat's. i personally think the system in room 2 was really good, especially in the right spots. bass rumbled your chest, and it was really loud but you could still talk to the person next to you... precision acoustics
what's some more grime like wen? gave pic related another listen recently and i need something similar
idk if its /bleep/ of /bloop/ this applies to but does anyone have recs for industrial/hardcore techno? i went to berlin this weekend and the kind of shit they were playing in tresor was mindblowing, idk where to begin searching for more !
lol. ya i know a few things from there ie pic related but was wondering if anyone had some specific recs
who was playing where you were there?
this Shifted EP always reminds me of being in tresor... the kickdrum sounds similar to how everything sounds in tresor
dunno if this is this type of stuff you're looking for but
this was the night we went, idk any of the names but i think bill youngmann and eomac were the two i remember being amazing. was prob the best clubbing experience ive ever had, we dont have any shit to compare in the uk x___x
also saw snuff crew upstairs in globus who were pretty good
looks good, eomac is worth checking to be honest
i'm uk man too and get kind of annoyed going to tresor for that reason too... nothing sounds anywhere near as heavy in the UK
also the annoying thing is that nothing on record sounds like it does in tresor too. the speakers/acoustic give a distinctive sound to everything that gets played out there.
eomac is def worth checking though...but it wont sound like it did in tresor tbh
objekt is probably one of the biggest names in /bleep/ music of the 2010s
all my mates who listen almost exclusively to hipster house and jamie xx and joy o and shit know objekt's tunes back to front
well look who it is...
