>there are people begging in sharethreads right now because they don't know how to use Soulseek or private trackers
>there are people here who get all of their music from the archive and The Pirate Bay

Holy fuck. Bump this thread so new people see it.
Yes, Soulseek really is that good. It's got a wider selection and it's harder to get caught.
It's a peer-to-peer sharing client like Limewire was. So yeah, you can't use it at school or in a uni dorm. But the average /mu/tant is downloading at home and is perfectly capable of using Soulseek.
>tfw the person logs off right after my download finishes
>mfw everything on what is freeleech until tomorrow night
I'm trying to download something right now and it keeps cycling through the queue but it never actually downloads. It'll get to 0th place in the queue but it won't ever start downloading. Anyone know what's going on?
And this is a problem because?
If I'm actually downloading a shitton, like you suggest, then I'll fire up a download manager and download the MEGA links sequentially without opening any tabs.
I unzip to a ram drive which clears itself once a day.
If mu/rutracker doesn't have it and I can't find it from a few google searches, then it's not going to be on slsk, i've tried this several times.

that's a load of shit. i've gotten tons of stuff on slsk that wasn't in the archive, and i couldn't find any of it via google either.
Really, it's actually rare when I can't get a specific album, and the only 3 times I actually cared enough to scour the internet, I had better luck asking a what.cd user to get it for me.
