Not that I know of, no. I don't think it's that popular in Brazil. The main genres here are Pagode, Bossa Nova and Brazilian Rock. And, of course, a lot of shitty pop and electronic. Don't know any current artist producing worthwhile music here, maybe besides Cicero. Chico Buarque is still alive as are a lot of older composers from the seventies, eighties.
