Implying this isn't the most outrageously underrated physical format.
When's the minidisc revival /mu?
lol fucking loser
come back to the cassette thread and accept the upcoming mainstream revival
the cassette thing is bullshit and I cant believe small indie bands still sell them
>>50762692
CD-Rs made minidisc obsolete.
The only reason I bought a MD player in the late 90s was to make my own 'mixtapes' with the added benefit of being able to skips track. I even had a Sony MD car stereo which I only got rid of about five years ago.

Jesus fuck do you even

I always though mini disks should have been a bigger thing honestly. I'd imagine for example, people releasing singles on them or very short albums, or simply the mp3 equivalent of their larger formats. I still consider them a much more attractive medium.

These could really be the 7" of cds if labels would use them. I think melt banan was the only band who might have even used something like it
>>50766017
I think small personal labels would benifit the most. It's not really something someone would "sell" technically. Those are made to basically sell yourself to a company or business. I think minidisk would be better as opposed to business card disks wich... woulda kinda seem odd to sell...
It's like you're a business card printer and not a serious business, then again... it's almost like trolling, as if ones music is simply the middleman between the consumer and the business card company.
