this. all of the failed microgenres are spammed and forced because they want to be known for being part of the the formulation and invention of it. they want to be Vektroid or whatever.

the reason so many of these half baked are just vaporwave knockoffs is because vaporwave is so easy to make, so talent hacks flock to it so they can have a glimmer (albeit false) sense of what it feels like to be an artist.
