I made a comic once. The main villain was a witch modeled after annie's new 'look'
she was a lesbian and serial killer.
It was cathartic, but I wish I was a better writer.

St Vincent is fine, but Annie is getting to the point where she's pretty annoying of a presence. Even if as a person she's not that bad.

That's her performance for that song essentially. She doesn't do it exactly the same every performance but it typically involves her getting close to/into the first row and allowing them to play her guitar for a bit. If the stage is right next to the crowd she usually rides on the shoulders of one of the guys that works at the place (or maybe people she brings along) and does it, but you can't really do that the way that place was set up.

Depending on where you see her she probably won't do the drunk walking stuff during Your Lips Are Red. Is it an inside or outside venue? She'll do it during Krokodil though. And the only other stuff you have to worry about is the choreography for the other songs, but that doesn't really annoy me anymore.

Well Pieta doesn't seem like a song too much out of the ordinary for her so I'm wondering what kind of "theme" perhaps she's going for with these two songs. And then what the following album will be like. I would imagine that if Sparrow is something quite different from her other stuff she would put it on a single with another song out of the ordinary like she did with Krokodil/Grot. If both are similar and not really so out of the ordinary I hope the following album is a full length Krokodil/Grot like album.

This will never happen. She has strong influences outside her genre, but actually recording it is obviously a novelty for her. Even live these songs (and Big Black covers, Beyond Good and Evi, Krok/Grot) tend to be encores rather than main set.

She's never played Grot live I don't think but I just saw her the other day and Krokodil was the last song of her main set.

I just want something different every once in a while. If she's not going to record a full post punk/noise rock album those should be what she does for Record Store Day (though I'm not sure how many RSDs there are per year). If she's releasing pop songs for RSD then I don't want her to release more pop songs for her next album.

Actor is a lot of the time thought to be her best album but I don't think that will satisfy your art rock needs. 4AD that that other anon said is a live recording of a few songs from Strange Mercy, and Krokodil/Grot are post punk songs or something like that. Strange Mercy and S/T seem to be more of what you're looking for and you seem to have liked SM a lot and S/T quite a bit still.

I think you're focusing too much on the genre or a specific sound. Maybe Actor isn't as Art Rock esque as S/T or SM, but then again Marry Me was just as Art Rock as Actor was, SV was never necessarily that kind of artist.
