Hey so I kinda dig the non-shitty radio house music. Does anyone know other good albums like pic related? I really like french house of the 90s. Any more essentials?
does M|O|O|N count as house music?
Pretty much the only good french house album.
Doesn't count as relevant.
how about you listen to some house that's actually good
yeah, dude I love this song so much. It's so great for driving late at nite:
will check out. Dunno how one cannot like Homework though. It's just so damn fun to listen to production-wise. I mean: listen to Phoenix: how can you not just feel great and want to dance?
Listen to this OP (if you already haven't)
I used to like it, I have it on vinyl. Then I realized most of the material is immature and isn't well produced, eventually found better house (see: >>50261446). Revolution 909 and Musique are still great tracks from them though.
What funny is that you think someone else's opinion matters. Never heard him say that though.
not that knowledgable but here's some good tunes
>Doesn't count as relevant.
haven't listened to the artist in question but that's a bit close-minded innit to write something off purely because it was released via bandcamp? idk
Far from french, but an essential.
I do. If your music isn't viable to be released physically, or at LEAST through some reputable label that has quality control, I'm not going to bother. There's way too much content available already and it's a simple and efficient way to trim a part of the fat. I did take a listen though, and it sounded just as bland and mediocre as I'd expect. Very good track suggestions by the way.
>material is immature
>immature house musique
cmon dude: you sound like such a lame buzzkill. Since when does house music have to be mature to be considered good?
> isn't well produced
been fucking around with Ableton lately and I've been getting familar with good production.
Their drums hit hard and the samples transcend beautifully into the drums: what isn't well produced ?
oh right: this is le sekrit 4chinz klub xDD
get a grip, motherfucker
It doesn't, necessarily. Their production wasn't up to the standards set by plenty of other artists by then. I haven't listened to the album in ages and have exiled DP from my music library some months ago, so I don't want to go to any details now. It's sub-par produced for the most part. As said Revolution 909 is great, Da Funk and Around The World and couple others probably are good too but not my taste. Most of the instruments (especially percussions) on the other tracks are just very poor and low quality (as if taken from cheap 90s romplers) and I find the samples not to be very engaging.
Sorry, ain't got one. It's on rutracker and what though, perhaps on mutracker as well.
>Most of the instruments (especially percussions) on the other tracks are just very poor and low quality (as if taken from cheap 90s romplers)
that's interesting: in fact I think you're right about the samples.
It's weird cause I always had in mind that Daft Punk are dope producers: for instance listening to those drums on Voyager or Verids Quo. Something abuot the frequency makes them sound so phat and vibrant: but gimme some links of dope produced songs please. I wanna learn
I'm really high and I've watched so many Kanye videos. I'm sorry if I use dope too much
What's up with the aggressivity on this board? it's worse than /fit/ Just post some music or please GTFO of the thread
