How can Slint be so good at three genres at once, AND create such atmosphere? They were only what.. Like 18 when they wrote Spiderland? The closest I can think of is Yndi Halda writing Enjoy Eternal Bliss when they were 17. I mean, shits just impressive

Saw these two bands last night and they were really cool. Highly recommended if you like mathy post hardcore like The Fall of Troy or A Lot Like Birds.

He really ought to read some of the stuff about the band and the release of the album too, about how some of the members got checked into a psyche ward after its completion

It's a spooky album for that alone, not just the themes of loneliness and alienation that are so prevelant
