Actually a tone field song with just a single sine would be boring, some of the songs from Golden aura artist abum are like this and they suck.


Also colorfield painting (tonefield is music version of colorfield) is sort of easy to make and really cool.

some anons Always posted ideas about converting other media genres to music (listing down the characteristics from other medie genre like literature or painting, and then using logic, music skill or other media skill to convert those characteristics) on dream genre threads, this happened also when someone asked how cyberpunk music would be.
Some idea usually posted was a colorfield painting convertion to music genre. It basically became this.
1-Song start with a silent part with at least one second or a tone with at least one second (tone must have same volume, frequency and waveform on its entire duration).
2-Song ends or continue with a silent part with at least one second or a new tone with at least one second (tone must have same volume, frequency and waveform on its entire duration). This happen without fade out or fade it.
3-go back to 2 or end the song.

This idea was posted since at least 2 years ago, and months ago people decided to try to make it.
Just few made it (maybe because its too deep4u to many) and the idea was quicly forgotten.

Go to the new page of the vaporwave tag on bandcamp and go to any album. There's at least a 50% chance of there being at least 1 track that's just slowed down Diana Ross or Sade. If you don't believe me, go listen to Infinity Frequencies and Luxury Elite. They've both done nothing more than slow down Diana Ross multiple times
