I find the british techno bass tunes to be way more exciting, actually. At least that scene is constantly moving. Plus the tracks pack more of a punch on the dance floor, and generally have a more varied, defined structure than non-britfag stuff

well you got me there with your sound and reasonnable arguments.

The truth is, I just wish non-brit artists and scenes could be more discussed here. Lots of quality releases and innovating, emerging artists come from the UK sure, but there are so many interesting scenes across Europe, it's a shame they're never talked about.

For exemple, I wish people like Olga+Jozef, or Petre Insperiscu would be more discussed, I'm sure they're nice gateways to incredibly rich scenes that I couldn't by myself discover, because they are oscure, because of the language barrier, and what not. The US, the UK and Germany are not the only bleep producers.
