Listened to one of Trim's new mixtapes the other day and he's just shit now.

Pic related was pretty good.

Hybris have released two EPs on Invisible this year so maybe there is an LP coming from them later on it as well.

Phace is meant to have a new 12" coming out but god knows whether it will be any good or not since they went full dumb after releasing that LP on Divison as Neosiognal.

Also this might be one of the few things on TTT that I actually like: https://soundcloud.com/the-trilogy-tapes/rezzett-zootie

>SSRIs can initially increase anxiety symptoms rather than reduce them. There have been reports that SSRIs can increase suicidal thoughts in susceptible patients, especially in younger age groups. This has let to a ‘black box warning’ in the US and guidance that patients should be reviewed regularly after initiation of a prescription.

If you're started on them I'd recommend finishing them. That whole suicidal thing is difficult to quantify, some believe that rather than causing suicidal ideation it's more likely that they make people who suicidal slightly less fatigued so they can actually go through with any suicide that they might be thinking of.

Depends on what you are taking them for to be fair, I think Citalopram is first line for anxiety and not depression.

That Mumdance Rinse mix few days ago was fucking huge

Riko Dan track was ridiculous
>>
>>49119704
yeah, i understand they can make you feel worse at first

this sounds really stupid, but one of my concerns is that they completely numb the effects of drugs and i might not be able to enjoy them as much again. also the sexual side effects and coming off them can be a bad withdrawal for some people. i'm taking them for anxiety.

>>49119796
Generally speaking, everyone would advise against taking SSRIs or any other medical psychoactive drugs with recreational drugs of any kind. Really, one of the two has to stop, I don't know how bad your anxiety is but there are non-pharmaceutical ways of dealing with it so you could see a CBT and keep taking MDMA if you absolutely have to (obviously they'd tell you stop taking recreational drugs as well).

>>
>>49119849
yeah man. i love those producers that followed the changes of the scene and produced under a shit ton of aliases.
>>
>>49120142
this is seriously terrible music.

it reminds me of myspacecore that 'scenegirls' would listen to or something.
>>
>>49120142
Doubt it.
>>
>>49120207
thats why its so GOOD
vaporwave made a big deal out of muzak being corny, but that shits old now. no one interested in this shit was around back then. what we were around for was fuckin eurobeat and bubblegum pop. what else is hot right now? night slugs. twist contemporary grime and happy hardcore horseshit together and you get the fuckin jam of the generation. im hypin this. it's gonna be a thing. i fucking feel it.
>>
>>49120191
It's mad when you find out how long people have been producing. This is an early Ed Case track: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WZsHCOOV6PU

I think my favourite producer who kept up with the times for a while is probably Darren Beale.
1993: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=igUsmmjbTCg
2003: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gbvyhoCDOFM
And he was also in Kosheen but they are shit so ignore that.

Also I bet no one has more aliases than The Speed Freak.
>>
>>49120261
yeah but the music has to sound good. which imo, those tracks are absolutely terrible.
>>
>>49120308
shit, had no idea ed case made stuff like that.

my favourite is probably neil rumney - the guy behind liquid crystal, as well as producing a ton of insanely catchy house tracks with hardcore and ravey vibes which you would hear played in any throwback speed garage and house set.
>>
>>49120405
Awwww shit yeah the NRG remix of Deepa is one of my favourite tracks on all of Suburban Base: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gt3zRXAfL-M
>>
>>49120458
haha same. to me, it's his use of sampling that stands out

it's weird thinking about producers like that who went under the radar and produced such anthems over the years. so many of his tracks were classics at certain clubs back in the day and people still go on about them
he was part of the production duo smokin beats as well
>>
>>49120691
I think Danny Breaks is really underrated in that way, he's such a versatile producer and has made huge club hits and quality music throughout his career through different styles.

LYRICS:
Can u see? The sun is shinin on me
It makes me feel so free so alive
It makes me want to survive
And the sky it makes me feel so hi
The bad times pass me by
c today is gonna be a brighter day

Can you feel the sunshine?
Does it brighten up your day?
Dont you feel that sometimes
You just need to run away?
Reach out for the sunshine
Forget about the rain
Just think about the good times
And they will come

Feel the sunshine

Without you there's nothing for me to do
Can you feel the sunshine, too?
It's comin through it makes me feel brand new
When youre here I wish you were always near
cause everythings so clear
And today is gonna be a brighter day

Can you feel the sunshine?
Does it brighten up your day?
Dont you feel that sometimes
You just need to run away?
Reach out for the sunshine
Fon
Just think about the good times
And they will come back again

When the sun goes down
I feel like I am waiting
For another day
When the clouds go away

Can you feel it?
Ooh-hoo
Can you feel it?
Oh

Can you feel it?
Ohyou feel it?

Can you feel the sunshine?
Does it brighten up your day?
Brighten up your day
Dont you feel that sometimes
We just need to run away?
Reach out for the sunshine
ut the good times
And they will come back again

[piano, percussion bridge]

Can you feel the sunshine?
Does it brighten up your day?
Brighten up yo
Dont you feel that sometimes
You just need to run away?

Suburban Base Records. Consistently put out great quality Breakbeat Hardcore and later Jungle throughout the lifespan of the label. Although it's contemporary rivals lasted longer and could claim to have more anthems under their names, I've always preferred what I've heard from Suburban Base more.

If you want old Grime sets: http://elijah365.com/post/49586292631/50sets

The qualiy of some of these are really bad but you just have to deal with it, Grime is like that quite a lot.

Grimetapes also have a lot of sets but they may or may not still be uploaded. They also 'released' a few things like these.

Grimetapes - 2003 - Wheel Volume 1
https://mega.co.nz/#!5cpDQK5B!MU7aSYQ7nBoEffm6FBmgf9QPzkm_vhlhLXaoQlJLz20

Grimetapes - 2009 - Wheel Volume 2
https://mega.co.nz/#!hMgVFaqQ!A20qzJOoek7Ib97ZhiJnhFgP2dliTR89H7Cm0faUqSM

They are basically clips of various MCs during radio sets, some really good bars and decent instrumentals from the old school days. A fairly decent way to get into Grime in the sense you get to hear most of the best shit straight away, but like I said earlier quality can be poor at times.

As for where to get old rinse podcasts, check the DJ's soundclouds. Uncle Dugs uploads all of his radio sets, DJ Slimzee has uploaded a fair few of his old Rinse sets, others might do the same.

And then you can find the odd decent shit on youtube as well: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O2PbTzv29qk

Alright, I listened to it and it's pretty fucking big, gotta admit.

Send it to Blackdown, Beneath, Ben UFO, Mumdance and Bok Bok

I could see it played on any of their shows. Blackdown especially loves playing submitted tracks

Fucking hell, that was a really dense song but it sounded so well mixed.

What DAW?

i rarely use soundcloud to find new tunes m8
>>
>>49127652
m8 if you follow all your fav labels you get to hear shit the second it drops and producers are always putting up new stuff. it's def p good man, would recommend tbh
>>
>>49127860
nah m8 i don't think that's true, well partially anyway

they only put it up when they put out confirmed releases

best way to stay up to date is mixes or seeing them live

i rarely use soundcloud tbh.
>>
>>49127948
labels put out confirmed releases on sc

producers put out any old shit, some of which ends up getting released and some which doesn't

it's def p good man, would recommend tbh boss
