I found a blank CD in my room of music I made when I was 14.
It features Microsoft Sam raps about nick jr. and tupac.
I am listening to it and it may be the worst thing ever recorded.
Should I upload it?
There are some unauthorized samples will I get in trouble
I was an autistic, immigrant Indian kid who came to the USA not to long before and who discovered hip hop on youtube and fell in love.
Believe me, I was a weird ass kid.
That's what happened
i pirated fl studios and sampled sims 2 soundtrack and rap songs
Warning the last track is just weird mashup shit of random songs not hip hop
It may be the worst thing ever made, its not even music man
Also I uploaded it to mega but it says I cant share the link or some weird thing
No my last name is Patel
aka my rap name Icy P (serious thats what it is)
Thug Bungalow (reference to thug mansion by 2pac)
idunno what a bungalow is but according to sims its some type of house so i thought it was funny
ANYWAY HERE IT IS
>your names dick ricky rick you suck dick you bang guys
>dont take my pizza
>dont take my fries
>dont take my babe
>just take these dope ass rhymes
Anyone think the 12 minute track is actually not so terrible?
>overproduced pop rap better than a metaphysical interpersonal composition
icy p here
here is an album cover i made of my teenage face photoshopped on tupac
found deep in the computer files
haha nice meme
but check out my repeating numbers meme
>yfw this indian kid influenced death grips
Guys. Do I write a semi serious review about this? I really, unironically, like this. What do?
oh fuck i forgot my scrobbler also takes them from windows media player
>this whole thread
Thank you /mu/, you've made my night. Especially you, Icy P
>mfw I've never been on /mu/ before
>mfw found multiple Bowie threads i was looking for
>mfw this is one of the funniest fucking things I have heard in 21 years
>MFW THE LAST FUCKING TRACK
No fucking seriously I was laughing too fucking hard and then the last one was legitimate. Damn dude, this is some old school /x/ shit.
Anybody remember the MG Band from like a LONG ass time ago?
>What should we call it?
Isn't it obvious?
yeah but what the FUCK is that last track
its fucking pitch shifted samples of creedence clearwater and the smiths mixed with weird ass spooky synths and reverb and all this crazy shit how the hell do you describe that?
>Straight out of Mumbai, an emerging, avant-garde hip hop artist has emerged from the shadows. Icy Patel, a child prodigy, created this masterpiece at the tender age of 14. Predicting the emerging “vaporwave” and “cloud rap” craze by about 5 years, Icy P has finally received the recognition he deserved. Receiving a 10.0 BNM from Pitchfork’s Ian Cohen, and a solid 10 from world renowned music critic Anthony Fantano, Icy P is currently planning a collaboration with noted experimental underground musicians and noted fans Neutral Milk Collective.
1. Message to Ricky
2.TV LAND AND NICK AT NITE
3.TV on the News (Remix)
4. Fuckers Suck on my wang
5.Tupac 2 (second coming)
6.I LOVE HIP HOP
7. Fire in the pussy
Official listing of best to worst
It was to repetitive for my taste. Also it was super short. The lyrics were just insults that a middle schooler would yell at you. It shouldn't even share the same album with message to Ricky
I've actually heard a hip-hop album where a guy sounds mechanical like that, was some weird concept album about the winter solstice or something, I downloaded it from a share thread on here.
That last song is oppressive and awesome, could easily be a Lustmord track.
So, Patel, what should fuckers do?
A. set the pussy on fire
B. suck on my wang
>gold rim 24 drinking 40s in my el camino g's up hoes down gin and juice
>bitch i still got my tonsils thats good luck plus brand new gaming console xbox word up
> watch basketball on TV marv albert says YES yeah
>no spongebob no cartoons no 00s all 70s 80s 90s fresh prince cheers motherfucking cosby threes company mr motherfucking furley nigga
These fucking lyrics. Its like daniel johnston rapping or something.
I actually like that sample on the first track though.
Holy shit this is the best thing I've seen on /mu/ for a long time
Straight out of Mumbai, an emerging, avant-garde hip hop artist has emerged from the shadows. Icy Patel, a child prodigy, created this masterpiece at the tender age of 14. Chockfull of classic tracks that’d make even the most avid Death Grips fan go raving mad from the glorious flow of Patel and his partner Mic-Sam; who provided the lush beats and harmonious samples, THUG BUNGALOW is a smash hit EP, clocking in at a perfect sixteen minutes. Anyone can listen to this long-lost avant-garde hip hop masterpiece with absolute ease, from the top 40 radio crowd who’d enjoy the total banger, and hit single ”TUPAC 2 (Second Coming)”; all the way to the ambient/drone/noise rap crowd who’d surely obsess over the album highlight ”TV on the News”. There’s something for everyone, and that’s no doubt.
Anyone who would doubt Mr. Patel his well deserved glory surely don’t know what they’re missing out on, and to quote Patel himself: ”Your names dick ricky rick you suck dick you bang guys”.
Would you seriously prefer to bang guys and be like Ricky than bless your impure soul with the greatness that is THUG BUNGALOW? It’s an absolute proto-vaporwave classic, and if you seriously consider disagreeing, you probably think overproduced pop rap is better than a metaphysical interpersonal composition. Consider the wise words bestowed upon you.
please tag it as such on last.fm:
memerap2, stephen-hawking-wave, post avant memewave, proto-vaporwave, micro-wave
Sims soundtrack latin2
tv on the news was a result of screwing around in fl loops for hours and shifting pitches, didnt really know what to think of it
I watched old tv shows every day like bill cosby and three's company because my mother thought cartoons were stupid
Ricky was some stupid kid in my health class he made fun of me for being indian and shit, told me I should work at 7-eleven, jokes on him I'm in college and he's probably a male prostitue
I worshipped 2pac because I just discovered hip hop and looked up all the popular stuff (eminem, dre, snoop dogg) and didnt know what it meant so i wanted to make my own rap but didnt have computer microphone so I used the speech thing
>Ricky was some stupid kid in my health class he made fun of me
this reminds me
>Ricky was some stupid kid in my health class he made fun of me for being indian and shit, told me I should work at 7-eleven, jokes on him I'm in college and he's probably a male prostitue
Thanks for reminding me to shoot for the stars, OP. You made may day.
this is the best thread i've been around for since cooper casale
>hot gurls with big boobys who are sluts
>purple (cool kind not gay kind)
>Worst thing ever recorded
Most people won't ever create music that brings people happiness, but you did. You did when you were 14. Even if it's just for this moment, OP. Enjoy the fact that you created, and put something out there, and you made someones night.
Its like plunderphonics mixed with drone mixed with vaporwave mixed with noise rap mixed with gregorian chanting
Its fucking Patelphonics and I'm going to start fucking making this kind of music. This fucking inspired me, I'm not even kidding.
This needs to be a real genre.
I was sad all day and this made it all better.
>mfw we've reached the apex of music and it is all downhill from here
mfw its actually a well constructed album with a remix/skit/12 minute epic last track/running theme about OPs ambitions and childhood
Fuck, I really want to go and make some music now. I've not made anything for like 15 years and used Fast Tracker 2 and soundforge. What should I download to start making some shit guys?
Fire in the pussy drags this down from a 10 to a solid 8 for me.
Its just so out of place and the rapping sucks. Everything else is GOAT though.
TV LAND AND NICK AT NITE has the best lyrics of any hip hop song this year so far.
I think Message to Ricky really displays what a difficult and unforgiving environment Icy P grew up in. Honestly could be one the deepest and heart wrenching songs I've ever heard. Why is it that rappers with a terrible childhood end up producing the best content?
they're all really short except for tv on the news so just upload it as a full album
wait I just got a great fucking idea
make a music video featuring clips related to the song lyrics
(like 70s tv shows for nick at nite, tupac clips, fire, hot girls, and sims game footage, a dark dystopian society where there are few survivors, ricky being a raging homosexual, etc.)
>mfw a pleb implied Fire in the Pussy isn't one of the strongest opening tracks ever
OP you deserve good things in your life for this
Production is how you build the final track from the several sources, mix, control bass/trebble levels, loudness, balance, etc.
Good production on a hip hop track basically means you have good beats.
mfw people are actually buying this guy's bait
no way this was made by anything other than a /mu/ dwelling neckbeard
ITS YOUR BOY ICY P AND THE FUNKY BUNCH WITH THE LATEST PRODUCT FROM PATELPHONICS INDUSTRIES
CHECK MA LATEST TRACK
FEEDBACK WELCOME THANKS ITS YA BOY
This is so fucking good
The funniest part is it's something I've thought about before, Microsoft sam rapping, and I've actually made my own freak hip-hop featuring one of the text to speech narrators rapping
