Honestly it's suffering here in murrica if you're a huge fan of this stuff. Most people here have no clue what the fuck this is about. At least in yurop there is an entire culture behind this shit. Here at least in Miami, people are so goddamn ignorant and don't know any better. If it makes you feel any better it's less prevalent than these threads would have you believe. If you live in London or a big city with a large student population, then yeah you'll get more people who are into underground electronic shit rather than just Avicii - Levels.

But it's not like that everywhere. For example, I live in the exact middle of the country (in the east midlands) and even within uni I only know one person who actually knows about new and current electronic producers and what releases are doing the rounds and what big stuff is coming out soon etc. And even that guy is from London, I don't know anyone who is from where I am who gives a shit about it at all. Cetainly not to the same extent I do anyway but I definitely take it too far so that's understandable.
