I don't know shit about psychedelic music! SHIT
Help me out, we need to have a /psych/ general STAT
Take one part rock band arrangement. Make sure all the songs use blues minor.
Congratulations, you have completed the theory requirement for psych rock.
Tone: Have rich parents. Buy Vox AC30s. Buy Fender Jaguars. Buy strymon reverbs. You're gonna need a shit ton of reverb and possibly tape delays.
Congratulations you have completed the tone requirement for psych rock.
Misc: Take any Jimi Page solo, choose 6 notes, slow them down, congratulations you have a psych rock hook. Always wear black everything.
Almost, as pretty much all of their songs are variations of the pentatonic minor. Still, they do have god damn fucking good phrasing on both of their instruments.
Besides, music is just the space between notes anyway.
this is one of the most psychedelic albums i've heard in my life, op. listen to it.
this is an awesome record I heard a while ago, I'd call it psychedelic jazz.

Objectively the best psychedelic album ever coming through
Don't see King Gizzard discussed here often, they're pretty great. >>48595295 is right though, it's definitely their best
Yes, their most recent album Oddments is pretty good as well, they head for a more straight forward Psychedelic Rock sound and start to leave the Garage Rock type stuff they did on their first few albums.
Psychedelic classic. Great album, and it's easy to listen to.
Natural Snow Buildings (as well as the other bands in the Snowbringer Cult) are all such wonderfully unique droning psychedelic folk. I'd really recommend listening to their shit
Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds is the psych rockers anthem.
WHY HAS NOBODY MENTIONED ACID MOTHERS TEMPLE YET?
The HEAVIEST psychedelic jamming straight from Japan. Like the Grateful Dead if the Grateful Dead were actually good at music.
Everything Kawabata Makoto touches is so perfect
