dunno, maybe future-y, post-pop, vape inflected stuff like...
Maybe not though, 'cus it's too hard to make. Vaporwave got big 'cus it's easy to make, so the challenge isn't being able to produce well or write songs it's just sample finding.
I had this idea while watching the raw footage from Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold to like take the audio and mix it and try to make melodies out of the audio and stuff. The genre will pull from video logs, home videos, narrating journals, etc. of mass murderers, school shooters, and serial killers.
It will have lyrics of stories from different religons and samples from religous films and preachers. These samples will be very digitally compressed and the whole genre will sound noisey and digital.
What I implied was the vaporwave aesthetic, taking an old pop song and slowing it down, but instead of making it relaxing, turn it into a slow hellish nightmare. Some people came up with the idea in a vaporwave thread a few weeks ago but never put it to action.
