Go to General Settings, Import Settings. Set whatever compression settings you want. Find the songs in your iTunes library, right click, click 'Create XXX Version' (its based on what your settings are) and it'll convert them.

i don't know if store purchases can be converted this way, because i've never bought anything from iTunes, but that's how you convert everything else in iTunes, so worth a shot, i guess.

I actually wish /mu/ were all about obscure dumb shit like this, regardless of quality. I would rather come on here and see a hundred silly albums like this and field recordings and weird shit instead of just seeing all the same regular popular artists on here. Can we make this kind of listening a new subculture on /mu/? instead of just picking one random on to make into a meme?

Sometimes I find old tapes and stuff around my house like 'learn multiplication rap' or 'arctic adventure story book' and I sometimes enjoy listening to finds like these more than the stuff I find on here. it's good for sampling too. We ought to have like bargain bin versions of sharethreads where we all just bring in junk albums and build a kind of thrift store to sort trough instead of a record store like on the regular ones.People could even post videos for people to sample.
