New Scuba sounding good but it reminds me a bit of the tense music from Ace Ventua when he's at the boatyard.
Calyx & Teebee FabricLive was really good for the first half and then pretty boring for the second half. Good mix though but not better than Elijah & Skilliam's that came out before it.
mSdoS - Oldschool Stories Part 1 came out recently and is some pretty good Jungle.
>implying it was ever alive
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xs5QkhVpaV0 (Making a 24-ish minute version atm)
wow thanks for the heads up op.
never thought i would see some one talk about scuba here.
He has taken a new direction. i really liked triangulation - three sided shape and before. Where did those phat synths and beats go ?
I think this proves a thesis of mine that cutting edge electronic artists simply arent as in controll of the music as we like to think
i laughed too... even though i said it. It needed to be said.
Im totally Justified. Im playing with Renoise, Absynth and Traktor in the park. Spare battery. 3watt bluetooth speakers and a bottle of wine. Life is Good.
Fair enough to say it but I still don't understand what you mean. Triangulation isn't IDM and (correct me if I'm wrong) I'm pretty sure Scuba wasn't using Renoise and such for it.
What do you mean about losing the phat synths and and that he (and cutting edge artists) aren't in control of the music.
Genuinely curious pls
>I love life and its endless opportunities
I don't know what genre triangulation is either. I really really liked it though.
Im playing with renoise because my favourite demigod is ASC and its what he uses.
By phat synths i meant those really strong sawtooth leads in triangulation.
And by not being in control, what i mean is a guitar player, plays a note and knows exactly what he is going to hear.... us electronic types keep twisting knobs until we find something that works. Im not saying its random but its pretty indeterminate. Thinking of a sound and then making that exact sound is in my opinion very difficult and time consuming.
Its new farm park and im was watching the moon rise. And im making IDM here and not at home because my roomate and nieghbours are asleep and id like to keep it that way because picture related..... . Jelly ?
The tweeter and woofer have their own 30watt amps based on lm1875t running in differential mode (balanced) They require +/- 24 volts power supply. Also DC sounds better.... Non reactive powersupply.
HaHa. Your povo. Cunt.
oh one does, does one?
one thinks your a twerp
There are some charts at the /mu/ wiki for electronic music. One thing you should know is that /bleep/ is more dance and beat oriented. Boards of Canada and a lot of Aphex Twin's stuff is great but a lot of isn't dance music proper.
No essentials chat really as what falls under "/bleep" is too diverse and massive. Best to have a browse of online record stores and listen to samples of things to see what kind of stuff you're into and from there check out other releases on the label or by the artist.
Start at https://hardwax.com/ and have a browse
Listen mate, if you are going to keep runnin your mouth off i am more than willing to take this to the streets. I am an expert when it comes to street level combat, I don't think you quite realize what exactly youve gotten yourself into you ratty little cunt.
Come find me, you know where i am
damn you must be high
Another FF subscriber?
Calyx and Teebees was exactly what I expected it to be; their style of hard DnB with lots of their own tracks peppered in, but I really did not expect them to have so much of All or Nothing on there, that came out like two years ago now.
I couldn't even get all the way through Elijah and Skilliams.
I only listened to Rinse for DBridge's Aptitude show, i wish he did more
Fuck i Miss the Autonomic Podcast series. That has left a huge hole in my soul. ASC helped fill it with the Auxcast. Bulbs "into the deep" series is brilliant too. Any fans out there ?
The new DJ PUNISHER 12" is mad, sounds like something they play to Guantanamo Bay inmates
This is the most legible of the 3 tunes
Hotline Recordings (UK) have a number associated with them, wonder if anyone has called that?
Swamp81 when it's Mickey Pearce controlling
There was a Sunklo takeover (Boddika/Joy Orbison) just before Sunklofaw came out where they covered the Hessle show. Those two deserve their own show
Yes that was great, reminds me I still need to get sunklofaw for In Here
Allow them getting their own show though, the hype would be too much
i've called it, they encourage you to call it
cba now but from what i remember it's an automated response from a robot saying something like 'hotline zero zero four, commodo, fuck mountain'
>Listen to first track, damn this shit is fire
>Check discogs for vinyl
>2 For Sale from A$100.24
Every fucking time I swear...
>mfw I've started hanging out in a bar where the "techno interests me" guy plays frequently
>mfw my new best friend knows him well
no deal but here's something from his facebook
lol how the fuck is this chav music? i have never in my life seen what you would describe as a chav at a night with this kind of music playing, and i've been to a lot of these nights
are you just using the word 'chav' to describe something you don't like?
looks like a chill guy to me
Please ignore anyone using the term 'chav' to tag music with, it's just shitposters and americans who don't understand british culture. No, jungle is not 'chav music' by the way. The closest thing that exists to chav music these days is jump up. Actual chavs do not even exist anymore really
It depends on what your definition of 'chav' is. If your definition is 'anyone who wears tracky bottoms' then yeah of course they exist.
Pic related though, never see these types anymore, anywhere. You know, the burberry, fake nails, fake hair, sort of thing. Or at least I don't. Bristol by the way
I just rung the LACR and Hotline Recordings numbers.
Hotline plays some grime and some uk bass sounding stuff and some woman tells you to ring back. then it goes to voicemail.
LACR wasnt accepting calls when I tried to ring it at first. when I tried again. it was a voicemail message that was police sirens and radio with what sounded like black men saying how they are ghetto thugs. in the background was a slowed down funk version of Rod Stewarts - Do you think im sexy? after about 2 minutes it beeped and when to voicemail.

tbh I don't know
does he play mbar at all anymore? I think I've seen his name in the monthly lineups at least in the spring
Chav has always been a disgusting way for the British to refer to it's "underclasses". If you're not British or Auscum then it might be a bit difficult to understand how classist people are are in this country.
They don't wear fake burberry anymore, but there'll always be people that others refer to as scum, or common etc.
And I've been to Bristol, they definitely do exist.
1. she's japanese
2. I'm bisex
3. I've lost my virginity several times
Student, so I live in Clifton
Well yeah of course this is right. All I meant is that 'chav culture' i.e the fake burberry stuff doesn't exist anymore. There's still working class people who retards such as those who browse these threads will refer to as 'chavs' because they've never actually met any of them and assume they're a different race of people.
You're the one shitposting, not me.
>typical, mentally handicapped chav
>jungle is for chavs
You've clearly never been to a jungle night in your life so stop trying to have an opinion
aha guess i'm a chav then
i agree with this >>48237698 , this >>48237738
and this >>48237958
enough with the shitposting
>these pleb chavs trying to talk down to me like i'm not /bleep/
try listening to some real /bleeps/ once in a while instead of your annoying repetitive beats
>somebody on /bleep/ goes to the same uni as me
But Bristol is a cunt uni, even the student DJs are cunts
I've getting into drum and bass lately but don't really know many artists so I'm trying to branch out; who should I listen to if I'm particularly into vocal stuff like this? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vhlkFEA0azk
new LAS ep, a.k.a the most interesting dubstep release of the year so far, is up for order on surus now
You'll have to listen to miscellanous Liquid Funk.

Some of these are full pleb tier but you run that risk with vocal Jungle/D&B. There is some slightly less mainstream stuff but much less of it.
