What are other jazz albums that have tracks that take a very different approach on a track by track basis like pic?
Most other jazz albums seem to be based around one concept with the approach towards the music based on that. Even TBSATSL is like that. But Mingus Ah Um's concept is based around respect to the past, and that results in each track going for its own thing (gospel inspired, blues inspired, Ellington inspired, etc.) I would like more records like this please.

Don't rush your death and let the Parcae be the one who cuts the line of your conscious living.
It's expensive for me to lost more souls and people is killing themselves just for fun.
I carry a cemetery on my back, that doesn't mean I can't take a few Pony faggotry.

I haven't really seen much on them at all and the closest thing that /mu/ tends to talk about is Deafheaven, which seems to be a mixed bag of opinions. What's the general consensus?
god tier blackgaze, probably my favorite neige project
Neige projects are the only blackgaze worth listening to. American blackgays is shit

a lot of US music artists are weaboos
they have a large music market and it helps deter people not wanting to import the cheaper international versions
Will I like Death Grips if I don't particularly like rap but like edgy music?
>>74733165
Yeah, Death Grips is closer to a noise rock group than hip-hop, they have rap elements sure, but they're closer to punk than hip-hop
>>74733165
Yes. Well, maybe. I like both edgy music and rap but Death Grips is a bit too fucking hyper. The production sounds like it's trying to rape my ears. It's not really for me but a lot of people like that kinda stuff

Holy shit, why did no one tell me how good this is? I only knew M83 for Midnight City and I decided to give this a listen and it is absolutely amazing. I am on a spiritual journey listening to this album.
>>74733106
yeah that's the best m83 album imo. their newer stuff just keeps getting progressively worse.
Further into the album I feel like I am drifting through space into heavens gates
