I seriously don't get the appeal outside of a few songs. The melodies aren't memorable, the lyrics are pale derivatives of classic American music and the patented shrill horrendous Dylan harmonica is at its most shrill and horrendous.

I saw her perform live once.

Probably the worst show of my life. It was the night that Art Angels was released. Atlanta, GA.

Nicole gets on stage, says some whiny shit, and starts playing. But then her bass player kept just moaning and rocking back and forth. We kept trying to figure out if he was drunk or something.

Anyway, she sucked, but Grimes was great.
