How do you guys listen to an album? Do you listen to all of the songs at once or do you need brakes inbetween some songs

It's a 3.5 out of 5.
Thank you.
If music listeners were all the people in the world, This guy would be the media and the jews.
Prove me wrong.
>>74808772
It's a 3/10.
>one day XXX will grow up and realize that the human condition is to feel grueling and devastating pain and loss, but to suck it up and continue on.
why do people hate this album
Not that great on its own, but a pretty big step towards DSOTM. Basically a bridge between Echoes/Saucerful and Dark Side
Childhood's End very much feels like the sterile, passive-aggressive attempts at being funky that Waters ruined The Wall and Animals with, so when I found out it was a Gilmour song I was really confused. I'd say on the whole it's on par with Piper and WYWH.
>>74808657
pink floyd attempting long-form improvisation is the real world equivalent of spinal tap's "jazz odyssey"
really all of their songs over 8 minutes long are aimless trash
>>74808777
i kinda liked Animals but yea The Wall is a disgrace
This is and will always be the best album from this band
>>74808640
m8 they only have two albums
>>74808640
>>74808663

sweet damn this guy is possessed
Dude needs to give up this "10 minutes each track" thing. Most of his tracks have some great ideas, but not enough to be 10 minutes long.

lmfao that's 21 hours worth of music in 2017 alone

does /mu/ listen to anything like this? late ninties/early aughts indie rock?
this is mostly it. tell me if you listen to anything like these or just jump in and call OP a faggot
this guy makes the most fun music i've heard in a long time, idk why everyone hates on him. he's just a kid making songs to turn up to. might become one of the goats if he can get some more intricate lyrics
>>74808315
EDM is more fun
>>74808315
i like him. but hes a legit dumbass
>>74808315
>if he can get some more intricate lyrics
Not gonna happen, because his IQ is 80.

Who's Next is already a great album (inb4 "hurry dadrock", in which case fuck you), but if it were a double it would've been even better. Here was the original proposed track list.
>Baba O'Riley
>Going Mobile
>Time Is Passing
>Love Ain’t For Keeping
>Bargain
>Too Much Of Anything
>Greyhound Girl
>Mary
>Behind Blue Eyes
>I Don’t Even Know Myself
>Put The Money Down
>Pure And Easy
>Getting In Tune
>Let’s See Action
>Relay
>Join Together
>Won’t Get Fooled Again
>The Song Is Over
I don't understand why they left off all these great tunes.
No My Wife makes this tracklist utter shite.
Doing this would have lost the plot immensely. They probably scrapped Lifehouse for the sake of releasing a comparatively lean and conventional album in between their operas
Also:
Who's Next > Sell Out > Tommy = Who Are You > My Generation > A Quick One > Quadrophenia > Odds and Sods = By Numbers > Endless Wire > It's Hard > Face Dances
>Dude, its devastatingly beautiful. I've been into it and vaporwave for several years now and I think it's very important to the history of music and challenges music theory canon in a way that makes me giggle.
