Why would you buy a physical version of this album? It's so ugly.

On The Run
Can we talk about this album please? I think it is the absolute perfect album to listen to early in the morning, and it has one of the greatest closers of all time.
Was just listening to it this morning too during my drive. It's wonderful. I haven't listened to the album in ages and I'm just rediscovering it. Agreed about the closer, have you heard live versions of it?
I have a 80 minute CDR extended version I made of the album.
1-10 (album)
11. This is the Dream of Evan and Chan
12. Turn Around
13. There's Never Enough Time
14. Our Secret (Live from Lollapalooza 2013)
15. Suddenly Everything Has Changed
16. Recycled Air (Live "Yeti 3" Version)
17. The District Sleeps Alone Tonight / We Will Become Silhouettes (Live at KCRW 2003)
It's exactly the length of a CD and really nostalgic sounding. I used a fair amount of dynamic range compression on the live tracks, some were bad Youtube rips, and the lowbit rate and quality just reminds me of the early 2000s, actually adds to the sound IMO. I'll upload a rip if you want.

Better than anything else Gibbard ever did

Literally babby's first indie album tier
I guess emotion gets you good ratings when there's something tangible behind it, like the death of a loved one. It gets you a high rating even if all you have is your sorrow and nothing to contribute musically. I don't think X is good and I like Phil Elverum's work but both of these albums are on the same level.

>comparing possibly the best album of the decade to this pile of trash
go back listen to your favorite memerapper you fucking retard
Your opinion holds the same amount of weight as Anthony's does.

Praise it without incorporating emotion.

It was a shitty band from the start
A retail and for the masses version of Kyuss, it went well for Homme's pocket
Nothing of value was lost.
You're edgier than actual nu metal fans, thought you should know that.

is anyone something of value though
why do so many of you look down upon popular music? you know it takes a lot of effort to make billions of people listen to your music?
>you know it takes a lot of effort to make billions of people listen to your music?
you say this as if this doesn't make it still shit
brainwashing isn't effort
>>74836078
>why do so many of you look down upon popular music?
Watered down passive sounds taken from the underground and is the equivalent of musical fast food. But there's a distinct difference between music made for money and good music that became popular
>you know it takes a lot of effort to make billions of people listen to your music?
No it doesn't

Amazing ambient artist. Falsely labeled as vaporwave because the internet is full of autists.
Is Grimes to Nu-Males & Feminazis what Mike Patton is to stoner bros?
Sure thing kiddo
>>74835001
be nice to grimes, anon
how do i be a feminazi
So, now that the dust has settled, is this a legit 10/10?
Yes.
On the AOTD shortlist too.
>The hype preceding its release did not help Blonde (2016), overcome the fundamental mediocrity of the lo-fi songs, as if they were merely reworked leftovers. The album can matter only to those who care about his autobiographical lyrics. All in all, the 45-minute video, Endless, that preceded it might be more interesting.
