Hi guys, I have a sort of odd request. I used to listen to a music album as a child at a daycare center and it always calmed me down and let me relax. It was able to put me to sleep easily. 6 years later I find this album at walmart at one of those headset stations that you can sample music at by scanning casettes or CDs. In this case, it was a cassette. The album art I vaguely remember it was purple with some kinds of white swirls on it? I have been looking for a replacement because I lost it long ago when myself and parents moved. The only other good hint for what it was is that it had Brahm's Lullaby and it the cassette had no songs with lyrics, all instrumental. If any of you anons have a vague idea of what I am talking about or know a way I can track it down I would greatly appreciate it as I have missed it for many years and still do to this day.
TLDR: Help anon find missing childhood music that calms him down.
Bumping for OP's childhood
Also there was this cassette of children's songs from my childhood, one was about the pumpkin-headed scarecrow or something. It's haunted the edge of my consciousness for decades.

What if that album was some sort of COMPILATION album?

It could very well have been. I don't remember too much about it other than what I stated. It gets harder to recall it each year that passes. I am desperate so I turned to the Gods of Music here for help.
help me finish this chart.

Your favorite album.
So Saul Williams is responsible for Death Grips right?
>>74887188
A little bit, your pic-related is one of the best things rap has.
Mc Ride was rapping 9 years before it came though.

SW had two albums before TRAFONT

I'm aware? I love the dude. Check out the record of Said the Shotgun to the Head that's back with an orchestra.
Still, Niggy Tardust would probably be the biggest influence of DG. An Mc Ride had one Fyre album out in 99.

I know all of this genres started as a meme and for some people, it cannot be taken seriously. But, what is the best Vaporwave/Future Funk/Seapunk/Retrowave song that you've heard? For me, it's this one. It's from the Luxury Elite album Late Night Delight, this song is a collaboration with Saint Pepsi. It has one of the best rhythms I've ever heard. 9.7/10.
>>74887018
it's sure neat
I will never get the "Vaporwave is just being ironic" crowd.
I geniunely find the aesthetic breathtakingly beautiful, like images of a perfect timeline of luxury and futuuristic opulence we were heading towards when I was a child.
Luxury Elite and Saint Pepsi are about as good as it gets for this genre, not really worth digging that much deeper

If you're still eating meat and animal products just cut the planet's losses and kill yourself
>band is planning to release an album
>we have 8 tracks, all between 8 and 13 minutes in length
>want our album to fit on a vinyl record
>can't fit them on a single record because of the format's obvious time constraints
Should we split them up and release them as two separate albums, each around 30 minutes in length, or release an hour long double album?
>inb4 "post your music!"
It's not finished yet.

post your music!
>>74886716
It's not finished yet
I cast my vote for epic double album, especially if its your debut. Come out with a bang. 30 minutes is practically an EP.
So this is pretty much AOTY for me.
I can't stop listening to it. Lollipop could be SOTY

>Alter my state to get through this date
I listened to the whole thing three times through at work today.
I'm not listening until there's a 320 leak :)

Same way dude it happened a few years ago.

This is perfectly fine. The black man is overthrowing the oppressive white female who won the trophy through white suppremacy!
They'd put him in an institution again
This is fucking shit.
shut the hell your mouth
I've been saying that for years but nobody would agree with me and I could never understand what made mumbling over a lethargic acoustic backing track so god-tier to /mu/ but now that you're here our voice of dissent and reason can be louder together
