I'm about to trip on 6 tabs of acid.
What should I listen to /mu/?
Normally I'd listen to whatever I want/my favorites, but I have tripped at least 30 times in the past 6 months and have exhausted most things in my own library.
I need some inspiration
holy shit my dude

Bach fugues
>he doesn't leave at least 2 months between trips
your barely getting your money's worth dude
>/mu/ is sucking this raplette's cock
>check him out
>generic mumble rap with edgy teen lyrics
Why is he popular again? Like, actually why?
You just answered your question dumbass
>edgy teen lyrics
He's also into anime, weebs love that shit.

not to mention minecraft

Is he one of those rappers whose audience isn't cool at all?
>albums over 35 minutes long
Pic related. Literally what is the point? Almost EVERY single album over 35 minutes long can be condensed down to roughly that length without losing anything important. (You can't prove me wrong.)
Also, by doing so, you save the listener's valuable time, as well as making him like the album more and be more enthusiastic about it because there's no filler.

This, I hate listening to music
>>75151531
Not only is this wrong it's fucking logically incoherent
Here's the brutal truth: the so-called entry level stuff is usually the best. You may find a few hidden gems here and there but most music is crap.

yeah if an album is actually good it will probably achieve success in at least some circles. too many mutants try to out obscure people who already have fairly niche music taste by popular standards.
Does it perplex anyone else that people call him jazzy or "jazz influenced" for using run of the mill 7th chords?
>>75113227
ppl are dumb, u gotta get over it tho
>>75113227
yeah where does that come from right. the idea of jazz influence. Mac is an autodidact, and he's picked up some typical guitar ideas, right, like certain chord shapes your friends might show you. And then he has a fondness for steely dan and yacht rock or whatever so his ear is drawn to implementing these lush sounds, but in a totally blasé way right. he plays riffs, not functional progressions. His songs don't need these chord extensions tho, it's all gussied up - agh.

Do you hear yourself when you type this shite?
Or are you really that oblivious?

I liked her Metallic Butterfly stuff so much more than this. Such a unique release with a unique aesthetic, and "Dragons" is an excellent track.
But her new stuff... like the fact that she thinks this would pass off as "authentic"... kinda bothers me.

anon this is a race baiting thread, you can take your actual music discussion elsewhere, thank you very much

i greatly appreciate the lulu era for the amount of drama and arguments it led to
Haven't really thought about it much since. Especially since the new metallica album is pretty good.

great album played at high volume when you're feeling shitty because you'll never feel as shitty as this record
Will this finally be the end of them?

I kinda like the artwork but I'm sure it'll be trash
Didn't people like the two albums that preceded this one?

pic unrelated?
I just listened to this album with open arms an hour ago hoping I would like it. It was pretty boring. I really don't remember any of the songs. I can kind of hear the girl's monotone way of singing in my head, but just barely.
